- The printer itself works fine. Once fired up the speed of printing is just as fast as my old HP.
- The printing speed suits my needs. Its not the quickest but it is also not a office setting when used by me. A great printer for someone who needs portability and a small size.. A little slow so I give it four stars.
- This was purchased to be on the road with me, it is great. I can provide clean, original documents without waiting in line at a kinks or a in the hotel lobby. Love the speed of the printer and the size is unbelievable. Thank you Cannon for rescuing the Small Business Traveler.
- This is not for office use - meaning low volume and medium speed. Fast enough for personal use for that occasional need.
- Not super fast but it is a BJ. so speed is not what im was looking for. quality and function is what I need.
- Print quality and speed is adequate for everyday print jobs, but nothing to rave about. It’s small footprint and ultra portability is what sold me on this unit.
- Good print quality and adequate speed. iP210 is faster than iP100 and includes Bluetooth connectivity.
- I love this printer. It is so compact and prints at a decent speed. Was easy to set up.
- The speed is still pretty quick and when you whip this out with ease and start printing you will need the time for everyone to ask about his super neat gizmo.
- On top of that the print speed for black is absolutely horrendously slow. Going to return this asap!
- The print speed and resolution are both very good for a small mobile printer.
- Paper tray is awesome fits about 20-30 sheets of plain paper.
- Set up couldn't be easier with a Mac. It was ready to use before I could load paper on the paper tray. It's the perfect size. I don't like bulky items and this one fits the bill.
- I only have two issues which prevent me from giving it 5 stars: first, the paper tray is disappointing, Canon should have put a little tab or something towards the top so the paper in the tray doesn't shift. second, with there was a case to protect it...it is a portable after all.
- The hinge for the paper feed tray was broken when I bought it (which is probably why it was $5) but can be made to work by propping it in position.
- What I loved the most about this printer is that whatever 8.5x11" or 5x7" or 4x6"-inch size paper I place in the printer tray, using AirPrint, it will print at that right size every time
- The print quality is very good. And I feel it is a unique product as far as combining price, quality, and portability.
- I bought this to replace ip90, I'm not as happy with the print quality with this one the ip110. Leaves lines when printing photos sometimes even after head cleaning. For photos I'd not recommend it.
- No actual paper tray means you'll have to store paper supply separately (and somehow keep it from getting gunked up between uses)
- It's not the best print quality in known spacetime, maybe. But it's lovely to my eyes, in full colour. The components seem exceptionally sturdy and exacting.
- The print cartridge sizes are appropriate for a mobile printer so I also purchased two spare black only cartridges.
- The ink cartridges [35-Black / 36-Color] are small but still big enough to give you ample prints, and very affordable. I suggest you buy extra refills up-front before you run dry.
- The only problem is that since this technically considered a photo printer, you do not have an option of printing a color document in black and white in order to save your color ink cartridge.
- The first is that sometimes when you need to replace the ink, the cartridges do not move to the center of the printer for easy replacement, and if you force them, even gently, the printer seems to not be able to get them back in the proper place.
- My other complaint is that the ink cartridges need to hold more ink! I wish Canon sold a version of the cartridge with a greater amount of ink in it. The cartridges are not cheap, of course, and they require frequent replacement.
- One feature I think is a great idea is the replaceable print head. I think this is a good compromise between having the print head built into the cartridge and having a hard to replace print head in the printer itself.
- I love this little printer. For an inkjet, I find that the cartridges last quite a long time, although they are expensive, which is a hassle.
- Ink cartridges -- I see some websites say 200 pages and others say 300 pages. So be prepared with an extra. But the point of this printer is to travel, not to be my primary printer churning out thousands of pages a month.
- In doing the printing, I printed the equivalent of about 60 four by six high resolution, high quality, full color prints. It used about 60% of the color cartridge, so the capacity of the cartridge for photo printing should be about 100 4x6 prints. It used almost none of the black cartridge.
- I had the thought of opening the cover and checking the print cartridges, and I discovered that one was just barely unseated. I didn't see it at first. I played with the cartridge, and finally got it properly plugged in.
- After receiving and installing the lithium battery to the canon printer the unit is now truly portable. No wires to connect to the cigarette plug. Where wifi is available or a hotspot I can print any where. The printer was easy to set up and install the software.
- I bought this printer for my husband who needs it for printing reports on the run. The prints are quick, crisp, and clear. The setup was easy and connecting it to our laptop was no problem. We're using a cord to connect both pieces so I can't comment on the wireless feature.
- The bluetooth connection makes it extremely easy to take everywhere.
- As a Mac user, I had one problem. I bought a bluetooth adapter so I could dispense with connection to the cable via USB. Unfortunately, the bluetooth adapter plugs into the external USB connector, making it marginally useful.
- The iP100 does not support WiFi so it would not be able print to the iPhone via the WiFi connection.
- It uses the exact same battery as my iP100 so I didn't have to buy another expensive battery for it.
- With the Airprint connection, once it's working, it prints - from the iPhone - as if I did have a USB connection.
- It is small and light, easy to transport and does not take much room.
- The HP Officejet 100 took me three minutes to set up as the only thing complicated was putting in the ink cartridges. But the installing the software and the WiFi connectivity were a breeze. Even the setting up the apps on my Android phone and tablet was easy.
- No A to B cable when their wireless connection is frustrating.
