- This thing is absolutely amazing and I haven't even started getting into all of the features. GPS is dead on without the need for an external antenna, the plotter is amazing and the 3D fish finder is the icing on the cake.
- This is truly a tool that WILL help you find fish quicker and catch more fish.
- The down-vision and Real Vision has amazing detail, and is really amazing to be able to move the viewing angle around to just about any perspective.
- The CHIRP side scan is a nice feature that I did not have previously and is totally awesome. I can’t wait to use it when I go to lake Powell along the rock walls.
- This model is top of the line and this is what I get? Very disappointed after spending so much.
- The sidevü on the units are awesome and photo like images of the bottom really blown me away.
- I have used the Garmin 7 side view for a year now and it is still working just as good as tbe first time I used it.
- Sideview and clearview are good, but the traditional sonar is amazing!
- This unit has CHIRP down and sideview, and traditional sonar. And honestly. thats all you want to have displayed on the screen.
- Plugged the unit in and the 7" screen with included side view is a fine quality product of exceptional value.
- This Multi Function Display (MFD) is OK, but the current software doesn't really live up to the hype that Raymarine inflates it to! The Lighthouse 3 software leaves much to be desired (even after the latest 2018 update).
- The Navionics is all that I use to get around because of all of the detail it gives.
- The display is bright, quick and intuitive. The more I use it the better I get with it.
- The built-in WiFi connection is limited to connecting the MFD wirelessly to a TV using a DLNA casting device (like the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter). It will not work with Google Chromecast!
- The 3D is a joke and does not represent the bottom at all even when going over massive boulders of the break wall...it shows a flat bottom, same with a wreck for the most part.
- My only gripe is I should have gotten the 9" screen instead but it's not a deal breaker
- I've bought 2 Garmin Striker 7sv units and I've connected my bow and transom units to share waypoints which works 100%.
- I like this finder very well I like all the options and settings. Very clear screen even in the sun.
- Great screen and I can see where the fish actually are.
- Great clear display, good value for money.
- This is an awesome product for the money. Picture is very clear. Thanks again!
- No maps (not even a base map!), and no way to add any.
- Used it once. I’m still learning how to operate it. Not too difficult. I have one issue, I wish they did not put the SD card slot at rear of the unit. It’s a bit difficult to get to.
- Easy installation and Seatalk interfaced with AIS/VHF with the proper Raymarine cables kits. The Axiom operated nicely on the water.
- The GPS was spot on and so far has navigation coverage for everywhere that I have put my boat in. If I had to make a complaint it would be that the screen can be hard to see in direct sunlight This isn't a deal breaker by no means and can be easily fixed by putting a shade over it.
- The charts & GPS work perfectly well together and provide real-time, accurate placement. It is also easy to modify the perspective of your boat on the charts for expanded information.
- It stands up well and is a very high quality.
- Unit is flawless, interface well thought out. Kit is packed with essentials including in line fuse and mounting hardware for both transom and trolling motor or other.
- The GPS is extremely accurate and adds repeatability to drifts and trolling runs.
- This fish finder is like I thought; it is very good and it is easy to install and use.
- This is great if the unit is dash mounted and you rarely need to change the viewing position
