- Good unit. Gets lost with small amount of debris in water, but all in all happy
- Decent depth finder for the money, I'm able to find brush piles with this unit.
- Side imaging at this price is amazing, while you can't see as clear as the marketing pics show, once you figure out dialing in the settings.
- Accurate depth readings while trolling around and with motor running.
- The technology is amazing. Love the giant screen. I replaced a 597di and the clarity is night and day in di.
- It's the bomb! It works very well and can see a lot that I never could before!! Would definitely recommend!
- I was really excited to use this unit when I bought it. So far, it has been a huge disappointment . I mostly jig or troll for large lake trout. I need to use the zoom on the sonar and the chart at the same time... You can't with this unit.
- At 30 mph in shalllow water when you need the depth sounder the most it jumps from the propper depth to 100 feet then back. SI is a joke.
- The mapping must be taken from Cortez when he was looking for elderado. It shows me on land in narrow water ways.
- Love this graph! It's a game changer
- Very clear and readable screen for the size and exceeded my expectations.
- Picture is decent and clear, i fish a lot of smaller lakes and using for for find variation in structure.
- Picture is decent and clear, i fish a lot of smaller lakes and using for for find variation in structure.
- The screen is much sharper than the 1199 (more pixels). Side Imaging looks really great, especially on 800kHz with some of the new color palettes.
- As for the keypad, the buttons have a less rubbery feel, so it did take a little getting used to.
- I also have a Helix 10 DI at the bow to use with the 360 imaging...awesome setup for bass fishing.
- The menu and setting are intuitive and beg to be tinkered with with is good because it is necessary. feel I waste a lot let time fishing dock there are no fish under thanks to the si.
- The zoom is a separate page and anything zoomed in over 2X is really blocky. It does not pick up the jig or downrigger balls.
- GPS is great for speed, tracking and marking spots.
- It does much more but I mainly use it for depths, water temps and bottom graphics.
- Easy to wire and mount, comes with all the required hardware.
- The GPS, side imagining, size, and price all contributed to me purchasing the combo.
- AutoChart Live is awesome. Just turn it on in the map menu and you are instantly creating a custom map, much easier than the PC program.
- The unit cover is heavy duty, seems to hug the unit very well. Hasn't flown off while trailering like the plastics ones could.
- It is great. Have to know what your doing upon installation. But read the directions and there should not be any problems. Also, most may not be updating the software which I found fixes any bugs that I did find.
