- Works great wish the screen was bigger.
- The in-dash installation was easy and everything works extremely well.
- So far it is picking up ground features and fish very well.
- I use the Hummingbird as a depth finder. It has worked very well. It is very clear and easy to read in full sun. It is accurate.
- The depth was wrong more often than right, and this was at both the deep and shallow end
- I only use it for bottom contour detection and not the idea that you find fish with it.
- I have found the 3x DSI to be an affordable, small color screen unit with similar fishfinding capabilities at it’s bigger brothers.
- The structure detail is very good. I have only used it in water from 2 or 3 feet down to the low 20's range, I am happy with it so far.
- Clear separation of targets, no doubt about fish versus weeds/structure, clearly distinguished hard or soft bottom.
- The depth readings are not accurate at most speeds and will occasionally 'lock up' and not read anything.
- Product says it will find depth up to 75mph but my unit does not work with speeds at 20mph.
- The screen is easy to read during the day and seems to be accurate.
- Unit display is good. Very visible in daylight.
- Crisp display and very good depth finder for its price.
- Screen looks good with good contrast.
- Screen is clear and the color is is also bright. I had a black and white before this so it really looks pro on my boat now.
- Works well in brighter light and has a good display of what is underwater.
- Good product, nice down imaging, clear screen
- The picture is clear and it showed fish on the bottom and swimming by in water depth 10 to 2 feet.
- Works as good as fish finders 5x more expensive. Great screen, You can see all the structure of the sea bed.
- So far so good. Easy to install and was pleased that it used the same transducer bracket as my previous Bird.
- Unit is easy to install and works correctly right off the bat.
- Using this in a commercial boat as a depth gauge only and it is working great.
- All im looking for is water depth and depth of fish.
- It's the perfect size for my boat and has all the features I need. Easy installation.
- Not that we test electronics for their waterproofness, but I did dump my Yak upside down, and the unit still works perfectly. I was amazed.
- Great for depth, and contour, and water temperature.
- Very easy to see under all conditions and shows bottom, fish, and other details clearly.
- Alpha-numerical on screen temp, depth and voltage readings definitely a plus.
- In the fish ID mode it shows fish everywhere but when I change settings there is nothing there.
