- The footage is clear and you can make out details & reg numbers of cars in front very easily up to about 30 feet distance.
- Amazing 2560x1440p image, clear number plates during the day and easily keeps up with the competitors i have seen on night vision...
- The A119 image quality and resolution is also much better than the average home security camera. The image is much more useable for identification.
- The small screen is ideal for setting up the position of the lens and viewing the menu options, it is big enough to view footage as well but this is probably best done on a PC for detail.
- I found the max resolution looked pretty good but filesize is large and transferring and editing video slow even on my reasonable spec i5 PC. In the end I've gone for using 1920x1080 at 60frames and results are good and filesize reasonable. I'm using with Samsung Evo memory card.
- Superb clear, hi-def video showing every aspect you could want. You can read number plates with ease.
- Quality of the recordings is very good particularly at 1080p 60fps.
- Works well, good image quality and the GPS unit warms up fast. Clips on and off easily when parking - important as the car it is fitted to is a convertible.
- The display is not very clear to read the recordings so I have to transfer them to a PC for viewing.
- The images seem very blurry as if its not set at the correct resolution however it is definitely set to 1080p i tried using 60fps and the device quickly overheats and the image is jerking and stuttering all over the place.
- The video is crisp at 160deg (provided the windscreen is clean) and the night vision works very well.
- I have been running this setup 24/7 in time lapsed mode at 1 FPS for around 1 month now. Works perfectly. No issues whatsoever. Interesting sometimes to see activities occurring in the middle of the night..In crystal clear.
- This is a no nonsence, easy to use basic dash cam with great quality video, there is no wifi which may put some people off, but then using the cable to connect to a PC or removing the micro SD card and using it in a reader is much quicker at transfering data than wifi anyway.
- The 160 degree lens is obviously very wide but suffers ( as all wide angle lenses do) from focal hot spot. This means there is a circle in the middle of the screen that displays the full definition while the outer edges suffer from distortions.
- The 2k resolution (2560x1440) and glass lens truly makes a difference to the Sharpness and detailed of the video. Additionally the 20mbps recording bitrate means you don't get too much pixelation and loss of detail through compression.
- Nighttime performance is also good, still struggles to pick up registration plates from cars from the sides but from head on you can see the plates.
- It is one of the best budget dash cam you can find around. Quality of the video is very good, but you need to buy a separate polarised filter to remove the reflections
- Very good day and night recording in comparison to previous cameras that I have had. During the day can pick out reg numbers with ease.
- Excellent camera. Night and day video quality is best for this price. Once you update the firmware you will get parking mode as well.
- Described as having a 135 degree angle of view but the actual horizontal angle of view in the recorded videos is around 100 degrees. It was immediate obvious that the viewing angle was significantly inferior to a Mobius Action Camera (with wide angle lens) which claims a 131 degree viewing angle.
- It comes with an extra long USB linking cable to wire around the windscreen and under the dash - fitting the unit only took me <10 mins! Being plug-and-play it is very easy to use.
- The capacitor keeps the unit running and switches off safely once the car is switched off.
- The audio that is recorded has excellent clarity too - I believe the audio recording can be turned off in the settings.
- The options for customising what info you want the footage to contain, such as speed, your car reg and co-ordinates etc are impressive.
- The camera itself proved really easy to fit, and routing the cable only took a few minutes, so we were ready for use very quickly and easily. The Easy Start instructions are clear and precise, but actually the device's menu is so intuitive I did not need them.
- It doesn't get too hot or cold as it has a capacitor. I had to set the Time zone to +1 so that the time from the GPS was correct but that is fine. There is a follow up added to the device now of a special cut piece of eva foam to seat the dashcam to the GPS mount a bit more firmly.
- This dash cam is excellent for it price range! the additional items you get that help you set it up in your car is superb, i have i nice clean setup where wire are almost not seen, its holds extremely strong when stuck on the window, the video quality is great, also good at night time use!
- Pleased with this camera . Easy to set up and gives good pictures. The GPS feature works well.Would buy again..
- It's been installed only two days so far, was easy to install and setup, footage seems very good and GPS module works well.
- Device works well. Only problem I have is that it does not have WiFi so that you cannot access the recordings from an associated mobile app
