- The resolution is ok, I can make out the license plate in the video when the car is about 8 feet away.
- Good day videos, feels solid, twist suction cup, Good customer support.
- The camera could be rotated back to see the inside of the car, or that douchebag in the car beside you .
- The camera screen auto turns black in 1 mins as I set, that is useful because I don’t want the screen on all the time.
- The 2k resolution is what sold me on this, but the higher resolution does not equal to higher quality for this camera. It does okay at capturing objects that are stationary but the moment you start driving, it fails to capture important things like license plates.
- The video is okay, but certainly not great. I mean, it looks great, until you try to pick out a license plate or something... it's so grainy when you look closely, you really can't do much with it.
- Super HD recordings. 2560 x 1440p is amazing! I think I can probably see the dashboard of the car in front of me (just kidding) But the images & videos are really good.
- Two way camera – love that it records both ends and has 2 files for each saved. The night vision auto adjusts and works well.
- 1440P resolution for outside cam. 1080P for inside cam in both IR and color modes. Very nice.
- 2k vs 1080p is not that much of a difference, if you do not have a 2k monitor like I do. I will try sticking the card in my Note 8.
- Dismounting option separating the camera from the suction mount is a bit awkward for removal.
- 170-Degree viewing angle presents a wide field of view. Capture high quality images in bad environment.
- Video is quite saturated, which I like.Very good night colors.
- The best part of this dash cam has to be the amazing quality of videos it can capture with the 2K resolution.
- Practically useless at night for reading license plates unless you're at a complete stop.
- The most critical issue is that there are 3-4 seconds of missing footage in between these loop files. In an actual accident a lot can happen in 1 second. So missing 3 seconds like that is a show stopper for me.
- Seems like the depth of field of the video is not very good. The license plate of the car in front looks sharp, but the car on the side not so much.
- HD video quality – when I review the video it is crystal clear, I can easily make out street names, signs, stores, license plates, etc.
- Two way camera – records both in front of the car and inside the car. I’m very impressed with the inside the car camera because you can easily see out all windows including the rear window. Having that kind of footage can come in handy in-case anything were to happen.
- Great video quality both day and night. Good options to tweak your videos.
- Video quality - Crystal clear. Set camera front and back 1080p both ends. Audio also extremely clear as heard in video.
- Would like if there was an option for a longer loop for more than 5 minutes.
- Day time recording of both cameras is clear and details can be seen (but color is a little off, mostly in that it is over saturated).
- Auto start up and auto record as soon as you start your engine.
- The plug that plugs into the cigarette lighter, has a USB plug which is nice.
- Auto starts recording when power connected; the G-sensor detects any impact and auto locks the important video segments.
- The parking mode feature is awesome and "sensitive mode" is what I like mine to be on.
- I'm not a big fan of the "turn to lock" mechanism of the mount. Especially when you have the USB plugged in to the mount, that creates a very tight space for the cable when it's not mounted.
- Sound recording (just in case you want to be extra safe and blurt out a car's plate that may hit and run).
- Ability for Updates-It is nice having the ability for updates so that more features can be added later and any problems can be fixed. Already had to update since it's been out for a while and the update worked no problem.
- Auto Loop- It is nice having the selection of different loop times. So far I have tried 3 and 5 minutes
- I often have to take the dashcam off the mount to either access the SD card or adjust the angle. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning.
- Somewhat spendy for what you get. At this price point I would expect to have WiFi options and at least a capacitor based system rather than a battery.
- No dedicated "MIC ON" button to toggle the microphone recording instead of having to dig through the menu system.
