- Very secure window mount, easy installation overall.
- The only improvement this could use is more cord mounts. The front+rear kit only comes with the same five cord hangers as the front kit, and it would be more convenient to have another five for the rear.
- I wanted to be able to read license plate numbers. I assumed high resolution would enable me to do that after looking at countless views from Thinkware posters on YouTube. The files are 1080p and are very crisp and clear.
- I bought the F770 with hard-wire kit and rear camera. I was attracted to this unit by the comparatively rare permutation of wide viewing angle, front & rear recording in higher resolutions, HDR, and because I live in AZ a higher-end thermal specification.
- Ok, so maybe the Thinkware isn’t stylish, but it is cool looking. It isn’t bulky or obtrusive.
- Gives me a sense of safety that I know I have a second set of eyes in front in case something happens that I can see if I could have avoided the sitiation
- This dash cam doesn't have LCD display, so you can't see what settings you're changing etc, and HAVE to use the app.
- Camera does everything it says. Very easy to mount, and very easy to retrieve video.
- Easy windshield mount with double sided 3M tape and bracket.
- For those who have not installed the unit yet, WiFi LED flashes so make sure u mount it behind the rear view mirror where u can’t see the unit.
- Video quality is quite good, including at night.
- Video quality exceeds my expectations in day and night even though with my front and rear positioning the camera has to look through a headline tint (front) and after-market applied tint (rear).
- The video quality of both the front and rear cameras far outshine that of my Department's very expensive Arbitrator Dash Cam units for our police fleet.
- Great video recording, even at night and the lane warnings in bad rain storms.
- The video quality is decent, but not stellar. License plates at a stop light are easy to read, but not in traffic.
- Best camera, fantastic quality video, recommended for my friends.
- Its works great good photos and videos Keep You in the lines and from rear ending people
- The camera works well and connects to a cell phone. Great video and works when parked with optional wiring kit. Use the Thinkware Cloud app.
- Video resolution is great. The only problem I have is the dash reflects onto the windshield when in direct sunlight. This is captured by the dash cam.
- The day and night video is amazing. You can read 90% or all the licence plates day or night.
- Records to both internal memory + SD card, reducing chance of data loss.
- The Thinkware has parking mode that wakes on motion and/or impact as well as takes time lapse pictures. I’m not a fan of the time-lapse feature, but do like to have it wake on motion near my car.
- The WiFi connection and parking mode were bonus features which did not factor into my search.
- Otherwise: quality is excellent, installation is super fast, and the features are unbeatable.
- Voice prompts and boot sounds are not configurable (eg, I don't care when the GPS is connected minutes after I start driving, but you can't disable that notification).
- Not intuitive, hard to reach buttons (I have to move mirror out of the way to find a button I need to press)
- It has GPS built in, safety features enabled, supposedly superior optics for night etc.
- It's great camera, offers a lot of features like Wifi connectivity, GPS built in, Full HD also offers rear camera (Optional).
- Has all the features I was wanting and reliability I needed in a dash cam. No regrets
- This dash cam is loaded with safety features. However, the volume even at max, is hard to hear. They have told me though that they are going to release a firmware update very soon to fix this.
- Front crash avoidance ding is too low, and the feature is too slow & renders it unusable.
