- Pretty good dash cam on the cheap. Solid 1080p video and frame rate.
- The excellent windscreen mount design ensures that the camera can be sited to offer an optimal view.
- The screen is big and bright and the controls are intuitive enough. The quality of videos is very good, even at night.
- I chose this camera because of its build quality, large screen and firmware quality.
- 1080p video quality isn't great for a $170 dash cam. When viewing on my MacBook Pro, full-screen, I can barely read any license plate recorded when the car is moving.
- Good resolution 720p or 1080p. Very smooth image (high FPS).
- It has adjustable resolution of 720p and 1080p. It has a wide screen lens that puts your peripheral vision to shame.
- This model is nice having a larger screen, onboard playback, gps, and speed information all watermarked onto the recording.
- Great camera, easy instructions, great resolution and very dependable. Alerts work 100% of the time.
- The screen just went black after about 3 month. It just stopped working on its own. I have the Garmin Dash Cam 20 in my other truck and that one is working fine going on 2 years now.
- The lens isn't GoPro wide - but it's still wide enough to capture the bulk of the action in front of your car.
- The image quality is great, although I haven't tried it in the dark yet. There are different resolutions to choose from, of course.
- Image quality is excellent, and night driving is recorded with good clarity it seems to go to a B&W image at night, and this works very well.
- The only minus point is that the video quality isn't quite as good as on some Dash Cams (you may not be able to read an approaching vehicles number plate at any speed above 25mph).
- Totally disappointed. When filming in speed is poor image quality! Diffuse images on vehicles when approaching.
- Video quality at 1080P is excellent and the camera adjusts to changes in light conditions smoothly and well.
- Night videos are clear and usable. This is a good, reliable choice if you want a no hassle dash cam.
- Finally installed the Dash Cam 35 in my 2016 Honda Pilot and I love it. The video is clear and I have no issues with it.
- The video is great, the mapping and speed is great, and when you get an alert that you're too close, it doesn't show up on the replay.
- Video quality is very good, although the field of view could be wider.
- The camera is very good. It came with a 4gb card and since I had an extra 32gb card, I popped it in and works just fine.
- The built in battery lasts long enough that you can record some video or take snapshots after the power is off.
- You have options to also set the camera to keep recording automatically when power is off - say if you are in an accident that kills your cars power system, but you want to get 'after event' video.
- The Safety Camera and Forward Collision visual and audible warnings work very well and are proving to be reassuring.
- The only problem I found is that you must use the Garmin cable that shipped with the camera, or one with similar specs.
- The screen is very small and the cord is very short...just know that you will probably have to order a longer cord. Also it beeps constantly...and keeps shutting off with the error battery low message even though it is plugged in.
- Integrated GPS. It overlays position, speed, date and time in the video (very useful against legal issues)
- Turns on and off automatically based in the car switch.
- Proximity alarm (yes it works). measures the distance to the front car. ober certain speed it beeps if you are to close.
- The playback on my computer is spectacular . All features work perfectly, especially the collision alert and the speed and stop camera alerts.
- The lenght of the cord from the 12 volt adapter is too short !!! This is the only reason I didnt give 5 star.
- Not a fan of the mounting post. I wished it came with suction style post, but I can live with it. Overall very pleased with the camera.
