What customers say about "Key Specs"
Marantz SR6011
- Great sound and a good number of channels. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting 9.2/11.2 sound!
- Really, it sounds great. Compared to the Denon AVR-S710W it's night and day.
- This receiver comes with built in 9.2 and supports up to 11.2 with a second amp, as well as pretty much every sound format there is right now.
- This has been a great receiver. I am continually impressed by the musicality it brings to our theater. Even a drab soundtrack sounds special.
- The sound on this thing is great and since I don't see it, the design doesn't matter much to me.
Marantz SR5011 7.2 Channel Network Audio/Video Surround Receiver with Bluetooth
- The power is a near perfect match for my Klipsch RP series speakers. Tons of features, you just can't go wrong here.
- I'm very impressed so far. It sounds great on both music and movies, upgrades the sound of MP3 files, and looks a lot more expemsive than it is.
- The ability to fine tune speaker balance, volume, and tone/sound fields on each input is a huge PLUS for me
- Being able to utilize the Sub Woofer while in Pure Direct mode is another HUGE plus and shows that Marantz is still rooted in Hi-Fi
- It runs very hot. I also have an Onkyo 656 which doesnt run anywhere near these temps. It's hot enough that I wouldnt put it in my entertainment unit, instead sat it on top for best ventilation.
- Can’t use both rear surrounds and up-firing/ceiling speakers simultaneously; limited to 5.1.2 or 7.1 configurations, no 7.1.2 with this model

What customers say about "Features"
Marantz SR6011
- Unit looks pretty nice. I have mine in a network/AV closet so I don't see it ever, but it does look quite nice when I go in to change a disc out or something.
- The upmixing is great! It's nice to be able to upmix the 7.2 stuff to 7.2.4. Some movies work better with the Neural:X stuff, and some work better with the Dolby version.
- The receiver itself, specification-wise, is very nice. Seamlessly works with Spotify and Airplay.
- Menu system isn't super elegant or anything. It's functional, but isn't anything fancy. This isn't really a con, but I want to have something besides the remote here.
- Small display impossible to read from the couch unless your couch is about 2ft away.
Marantz SR5011 7.2 Channel Network Audio/Video Surround Receiver with Bluetooth
- Set up is easy and the self calibration works well.
- Features a game mode to disable adding input lag
- Good 1080p upscaler, great for legacy sources like Wii connected over component video
- Supports DTS:X and Dolby Atmos
- Spotify Connect is a convenient feature and normally works
- The audessy procedure is actually quite painful because it takes so long for it to go through all the steps.
- The operating manual is not particularly user-friendly.
- The only negative I can site is that some of the options are not on screen, they appear only in the little display.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Marantz SR6011
- The display passthrough stuff with HDMI doesn't seem to add a lot of display lag.
- The bluetooth works flawlessly, the signal is strong and stable, wi-fi too.
- It has a plenty of input/output that provide many opportunities, recommended.
- The wireless connection works fine. I use both bluetooth and wi-fi and have no problems.
- Сonnection with wi-fi is not stable, it happens that the connection lasts a very long time.
Marantz SR5011 7.2 Channel Network Audio/Video Surround Receiver with Bluetooth
- Being able to wireless-ly play music from my iPhone, iPad or laptop is very handy... especially for parties or when having some company over
- 8 HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, all supporting the latest HDMI standards
- One thing I noticed and need to work on is the WiFi, seemed to take long to find my cable modem so being impatient I just ran a lan cable.
- No power outlets on the back for plugging in a sub to automatically turn off
