- There is plenty of power to drive my large Infinity floor towers and I could not hear any distortion at high volume levels.
- It operates as it should and performs within its system criteria. I pleased with the receiver.
- WOW, ample power, ease of use and I really like the room correction software.
- It sound quality was great and paring to my TV to synchronize volume and power was flawless !
- Great receiver. Sound quality is amazing and is very easy to set up. Could not be happier!
- Sounds amazing. Volume at 70 is plenty, wife says turn it down, so happy for have this.
- This receiver replaced my Onkyo TX-NR737 and feel that it is definitely an upgrade in sound quality and video features.
- This is my 3rd Onkyo receiver that I’ve purchased over the last 20 years. Great products, great power, sound, and video. Easy setup.
- I like this unit. It has good power, sounds good and is well laid out.
- Likes- sounds great, easy setup, enough power for a 16x25 room, added a stereo amp for 11.2 channels.
- I bought the RZ630 as an upgrade to my previous Onkyo for a 5.2.4 Atmos set-up during the Amazon Cyber week deals. The build is solid and the set-up is straight forward.
- The Atmos options provide for several speaker configurations and placements. The AccuEQ calibration worked well balancing my speaker set-up.
- Video of Dolby Vision and 4K crystal clear, just like the audio. Crazy value and I am glad I bought it.
- Like it. Technological yet simplified and very intuitive. I am making use of some old components, former speakers, and a dvd burner, so as I afford to upgrade it will only get better.
- The only way to control it with a smart phone or tablet is for the receiver to be on WiFi. If you have it hard wired to the internet, you cannot find it on the app to control it.
- Setup is easy and guided for those not familiar and the menu settings are intuitive and explained when selected.
- The remote is smaller and simpler than previous ones and more straight forward.
- The fold down front panel shows quality as do the solid feeling knobs, this feels like a receiver costing thrice as much.
- Sound quality is excellent and the inclusion of the "Pure" mode is appreciated for my old high quality vinyl recordings.
- In the external modes like "Net" modes the screen shows the album cover and information along with a blown up blurry background image making it very attractive.
- I have a XB1-X, PS4 Pro, Apple TV, Cable box, JVC projector, and a LG C8 OLED connected via HDMI cables, and no issues with signal pass thru with any of those components.
- The connectivity, network, and simplicity of HDMI are amazing on this.
- The unit was easily connected to the network and the sound quality is second to none!
- I've only had a couple issues with signal switching between inputs, usually either a black screen or no sound which I turn everything off and back on will resolve it.
- This receiver has famously bad HDMI ports. They seem to work anywhere from 0 to 6 months and then often fail.
- The integrated WIFI adapter works better than the external solution required on the NR818 and the unit signed into my Pandora account without issue.
- The installation of this was a breeze, lot of HDMI ports that are easy to recognize and set up.
- Price was high but for the quality and connection ability it was the best choice.
- The only HDMI input on the back that seems stable with my Comcast box is the "Game" input.
- The HDMI pass through is a little weird. When i turn the unit off I get video but I lose sound.
