- It has enough of the raw power to shake your world yet can play delicately and accurately.
- Same great crystal clear audio plus modern features I didn't expect. Wonderful setup wizard.
- A really great receiver so far, many features and wonderful performance!
- The main reason for getting it is the full 4K support and much better power amp to drive my 6ohm ELEC Unifi floor standing speakers.
- Today it randomly turned on Spotify and blasted my speakers on maximum. I have 200 watt rms speakers with an emotiva amp. I almost blew my speakers and my eardrums.
- The sound quality is great. My polk speakers sound different with the Denon. In a good way. Hard to describe but better.
- I mainly notice the dialog with my center channel has never sounded so good. I very highly recommend the Denon AVR3400H to anyone looking for a high end 7.1 receiver at a mid level pice range.
- I bought Denon AVRX3400H receiver for my Klipsch 5.1.2 home theater system. It was highly recommended from all home theater dealers/geeks.
- Wow the picture quality is awesome and the sound quality is unbelievable very dimensional along with awesome clarity.
- This is a nice receiver that gives me everything I need for my home surround sound system.
- There are so many features it’s impossible to review properly so I will just say that this receiver sounds awesome and can do just about anything.
- Control with your phone or tablet including power! I streamed music while in bed.
- Easy, guided set up. Sounds great. Love the AirPlay 2 support! Dig the 8 HDMI inputs!
- I found out the Dolby Atmos works only with a disc or broadcast that includes the Dolby Atmos signal from the source, otherwise it is dormant.
- The remote feels a bit cheap, so many features you need to put in the time and download to read the manual to get the most out of this unit.
- The calibration menu will even detect if you have the polarity backwards when plugged into the speakers.
- The remote is much simpler to use, than my previous two Denon receivers.
- The audyssey software helps in initial calibration and tuning and is pretty good.
- Replaced a 2002 Denon AVR with the AVR-X3400 and what a difference. Better channel separation, more clean power, awesome audyssey setup process takes time but well worth it.
- I like the fact that I can remotely turn it on and start playing music from it from iTunes on my computer. That's really cool.
- Lots of power , lots of ability to tweak and adjust to room and taste, futureproof, good apps, connected to all devices including a NAS seamlessly.
- Unit connected to my WiFi, discovered a firmware update, and installed it without issue.
- This is an excellent receiver that helps me improve sound quality and get 4k resolution thanks to the HDMI connector.
- It will not transmit audio over the hdmi ARC connection.
- The setup HDMI where the TV Set sends sound back to the receiver is not working.
- You can set this up to turn on you TV or any connect equipment once it recieves a signal from this unit when connected through HDMI.
- I returned my Onkyo TX-NR757 since I was experiencing the dreaded HDMI pass through issue and upgraded to the Denon AVR3400H. Glad I did. The HDMI pass through is night and day superior to Onkyo.
- Set up and calibration was pretty easy. Especially since all the menus are displayed on my TV through HDMI.
- The Zone 2 HDMI out works absolutely flawlessly. I've never used the Zone 2 feature on a stereo before, but this was a deciding factor when purchasing this unit.
- The HDMI cause constant signal loss to my projector when operating at very high signal rate.
