All-in-One and All at Once
If you'd like to get all at once and don't want to sacrifice any features to get low long-term running costs, the Epson EcoTank ET-4760 may interest you. It's one of the most advanced all-in-one devices from Epson that can be ideal for small offices in need to print lots of pages each month without worrying about the costs of consumables.
Instead of using traditional, disposable ink cartridges, this multifunctional printer boasts the EcoTank technology and has four separate ink tanks that you will be able to refill by yourself once they get empty. The bottles last a long while, therefore, the device has an amazingly high print yield. Actually, a monochrome page will cost you somewhere about 0.3 cent and a color page will be slightly less than 1 cent. These cost-per-page ratings are surely among the lowest on the market.
Yet, the device doesn't sacrifice productivity perks for lower ink costs. It's a 4-in-1 machine that can not only print, scan, and copy, but also send faxes if needed. Despite that, it's a bit smaller than its competitors with the same set of functions - it measures just 10 x 16.4 x 19.8 inches. Even with its smaller size, the ET-4760 printer packs in a 250-sheet paper drawer and a 30-sheet automatic document feeder.
Office-ready, the maximum monthly duty cycle of this mini beast makes 5,000 pages, while the printing speed of documents is 15 ppm, which is about on par with bulkier models within its price bracket. The texts and graphs get consistently well-shaped, accurate, and highly legible with little-to-no banding or streaking. The printer is also capable of producing good-quality photos.
Easy Navigation
The ET-4760 offers standard connectivity options like 100Mbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Wi-Fi Direct for connecting to your smartphone and giving access to numerous mobile apps. However, you won't get a USB port for printing and scanning right to/from USB sticks.
For hands-free use, the printer integrates with Amazon Alexa's and Google Home's smart home gadgets. It can perform only a few specific tasks right out-of-the-box but you can teach this MFP new voice-activated tricks. In addition to that, you can also perform all walk-up functions via the 2.4-inch touch-screen display. It nicely hinges upward and lets you swipe through menu offerings like on a smartphone.
Functional and easy to use, this is a perfect multifunctional color printer for small offices that offers fax capabilities and delivers inkjet printing with a very attractive money-saving prospect.

Focuses on Low Running Costs
The WorkForce ET-3750 is another decent addition to the Epson's Eco-Tank lineup that focuses primarily on running costs. That's why the pack already includes enough ink to deliver as many as 14,000 pages in monochrome and 11,200 pages in color, which is equivalent to about two years of regular use with no refilling.
Like other EcoTank printers, this one uses refillable ink bottles rather than traditional ink cartridges. The ink is fairly easy to load since all the tank ports are color-coded and the tops of ink bottles are 'keyed' differently so that you won't put the wrong color in a given ink reservoir. The cap on each bottle easily slots into the tank in order to prevent spillage. Also, all the ink tanks have exterior level windows allowing you to tell at a glance how much ink has remained.
If you print something at least once a week, the ET-3750 will keep the color ink heads 'primed and fluid' by using just a little bit of ink. And despite low ink consumption, both documents and photo prints get excellent. A pigmented black ink produces a smooth, detailed text that rivals the quality of a typical laser printer. Color printing is also sharp, bold, and bright, though the ET-370 uses three colored inks only (cyan, magenta, and yellow). The device responds quickly to all printing commands and prints quickly. Yet, take note that it has no label printing and fax capability. It's just a basic all-in-one inkjet with scan and copy functions.
About Design
The ET-3750 has undergone a bit of a design makeover, so now it's quite compact and can easily fit on a shelf or a work desk in a small office. With that, it holds a lot of paper (150 sheets of A4 paper) and has a separate 30-sheet automatic document feeder. That is to say, since this printer has an ADF, it's capable of scanning and copying legal-sized documents. It's the feature that previous models lack.
When it comes to connectivity options, the unit offers USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and supports Apple’s AirPrint for iOS devices, as well as Epson’s free iPrint app for Android users. All this makes the ET-3750 a good bet for small offices. It can produce good-quality color and text documents for staggeringly low running costs.

Reasonable Choice
With an affordable price tag, reasonable per-print cost, and a rich variety of connectivity options, the Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 makes a very strong showing. The manufacturer calls this model a "Small-in-One printer” since it has a compact body (not really larger than a typical inkjet printer) but still handles document printing, photo printing, copying, and scanning perfectly well.
Owing to its glossy black body, the printer has an upscale look and can seamlessly blend with the rest of your high-end electronics on the desk. And while the XP-7100 may seem boxy at a glance, it's a nice transformer with the lid flipping and sliding to reveal a paper tray and an automatic document feeder. Also, it has a flip-out control panel with a large intuitive 4.3" touchscreen display allowing you to view, edit, and print photos right from USB or SD card slot if needed. Below the screen, you’ll find the two paper trays that are adjustable. One of them can accommodate specialty photo paper of different sizes.
As mentioned, this mini all-in-one comes with an ADF, as well as a flatbed scanner, meaning you have a choice depending on what you’re going to scan. The ADF also allows for single-pass auto-duplexing printing, which is a nice feature that simplifies work quite a lot.
For Photo Printing
When it comes to printing quality, this MFP delivers as good prints as you may expect from a five-ink, inkjet printer. The text gets uniformly crisp within quite a short time (15.8 pages per minute). Yet, the area where the Epson Expression XP-7100 really shines is photo printing. It delivers exceptional photo reproduction with vivid colors and sharp details. Actually, you'll hardly tell photos printed by this from images printed by professional equipment. Plus, the XP-7100 offers a variety of sizes of full-color photos.
Another perk is that the printer can print labels on pre-surfaced CDs and DVDs via a small caddy that slips in just above the output tray. This is the feature that's more common of higher-end, pricey machines.
All this makes the XP-7100 an excellent all-in-one inkjet printer for those who need a compact, mid-level all-in-one inkjet printer for light jobs. It prints amazing photos and sharp texts. Yet, the cartridges don't yield many pages, so it's not that great for large-scale printing.

What customers say about this product
Key Specs(4.7)
Features(4.7)
Printing / Scanning(4.5)
Cartridges(4.3)
Entry-level Cartridge-free Model
The Epson ET-2760 is an affordable inkjet all-in-one printer from the EcoTank series. So, if you'd like to get accustomed to cartridge-free Epson printers, this entry-level model can be a good option to start with. It ensures excellent output and low printings costs, making it a solid buy for low-volume small offices. And if you wonder why we recommend it mainly for "low volume" jobs, there are a few reasons for that.
To begin with, it's a bit slower compared to its more robust siblings. With the print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi, the ET-2760 outputs only 10.5 ppm for monochrome and 5 ppm for color pages. That's about half as fast as the high-end ET-4760 model. That said, slow print speeds often contribute to a printer's ability to create sharp and vivid documents, and this model isn't an exception. The ET-2760 churns out great-looking documents with well-shaped characters, spacing, and pair kerning. Business graphs also come out well-detailed with smoothly flowing gradations from one color to another.
Moving on, we would like to point out that the ET-4760 lacks some key productivity features, and an automatic document feeder is among them. Since it has no ADF, you'll need to place each page of a document on the scanner bed, scan it, remove it, and then repeat the process for the next pages.
Speaking about the paper handling, the printer is fitted with a 100-sheet input tray on the back and a 30-sheet output tray at the front. The input tray can also fit 20 sheets of photo paper and 10 envelopes.
Connectivity Options
Compared to higher-end siblings, the connectivity options of the ET-2760 are not very robust yet we found them sufficient for most needs. Actually, you get Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a PC connection via USB 2.0 or Wi-Fi Direct. That is to say, you can print right from Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Fire OS Support, Mopria Print Service, or Epson iPrint. You can also print from SD cards since the unit is equipped with a port located on the left side. The functions like scanning, copying, and printing (also from the cloud) are easily handled from a control panel that includes a set of navigation keys and a non-touch 1.4" color display.
As you may expect from any EcoTank printer, the ET-2760 is already shipped with some ink included. Actually, the supplied bottles will be enough for 7,500 black and white prints and 6,000 color prints.
In all, if you need a budget-friendly MFP for your home-based micro office, this is a solid choice. It not only comes at an affordable price tag but also offers cheap printing costs. Although it's not very quick and lacks an automatic document feeder, it produces excellent prints.

So Easy to Use
The Epson EcoTank ET-2760 is surely one of the best models for student use. It's moderately-priced, compact enough for confined dorm rooms, and boasts a supertank system that yields tons of black and color pages before it needs a refill. Plus, it's extremely easy to use.
The first thing that you'll notice upon delivery is how simple the printer is to set up. While many printers require you to plug it into your computer somehow, this one even has no port for that. All you really need to do is just plug it into a power outlet and then set it up with your Wi-Fi network. That's all. The hardest part would be entering the Wi-Fi password manually using arrow keys.
The bundled software like the Epson printer drivers and Epson Scan 2 will be uploaded in no time, and you'll be able to print almost immediately. With that, all the gadgets connected to your Wi-Fi network will be paired with the printer automatically due to the peer-to-peer wireless network protocol. Afterward, you'll be able to control printing tasks via Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Fire OS support, Mopria Print Service, and Epson's iPrint app. Also, the ET-2760 supports the Voice-activated Printing feature for Alexa and Google Assistant ecosystems, meaning you can print a variety of projects and documents, using just your voice.
Another thing that makes this all-in-one a real pleasure to use is its cartridge-free capacity. Like other EcoTank units, it comes with ink bottles (black, yellow, red, and blue) that are easy to fill and that cost about $40 per set (equals less than 1 cent per page).
All-in-One for Students
At just 7 x 14.8 x 13.7 inches, it's one of the most compact AIO printers among fully-featured models, which makes it ideal for dorms and other confined spaces. At the same time, its interface isn't crumpled featuring a nice 1.44" non-touch color display with a set of arrow keys, OK, Home, Help, Back, Copy, and Cancel buttons.
As for paper handling, the machine is designed with a 100-sheet paper tray that pulls up and out from the rear part. What is notable, the ET-2720's maximum duty cycle is 3,000 prints, which is a quite high number for a printer of this size. What is more important though is that it reproduces texts with well-shaped characters and accurate spacing allowing for high print quality of most documents. Also, it's capable of printing colorful and intricate PowerPoint handouts or Excel charts, with no visible flaws.
The only thing you should bear in mind is that the printer has no sheetfed scanner, so copies will be one-sided by default. That being said, you can always flip each page over to scan the other side manually.
To wrap things up, the EcoTank ET-2760 is surely a good live-in companion in any dorm. Although it's a bit slow and has no duplex scanning (which may be stressful if you're rushing to hand in your homework), it has a ridiculously low cost-per-print ratio and takes minimum space on a desk. It also has a flatbed scanner in case you need to scan some occasional documents.

What Features to Compare
Type
First and foremost, you should decide on the type of printer that will best cover your needs. Basically, there are two options to choose from - simple printers used for printing only and multi-functional devices deftly combining the functions of a printer, scanner, and copying machine in one machine. The next thing to pay attention is the printing technology used. In regards to this technology, printers can be divided into Inkjet and Laser models. As a rule, laser printers require lower maintenance costs because toners they use last longer compared to ink cartridges and they are less expensive. Also, they boast an amazing printing speed, though they aren't that good for printing images. Inkjet printers use multicolor ink cartridges for printing and can deliver high-quality photos and color documents.
Performance
The next thing to consider is performance. Printing resolution affects the quality of printing quite a lot. The higher it is, the crisper prints you get. The same goes for scanning resolution.
Print speed is another parameter you should take into account. If you need a device for high-volume printing, the print speed of the device is of great importance. The cheapest Epson printers have an average speed of 10 ppm, while high-end models can produce up to 20 ppm. The tray capacity also matters, especially if you're going to use the item in your home office and print lots of documents per one go. The best Epson models can hold up to 500 sheets of plain paper, whereas an average number for standard printers makes 100-200 sheets. Don't overlook the formats the printer supports as well. The majority of Epson devices can deliver Photo, Letter, Legal, Executive, A4, A5, and B5 prints. And if you need a unit for professional large-scale printing, look for those models that support 13" x 19" borderless printing.
Interface
The interface also plays an important role. Epson offers customers various connectivity options among which are Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB and even NFC technologies. Some printers also have slots for SD-cards enabling a PC-free printing. In order to let users make prints directly from their mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones and tablets), most Epson printers support technologies like AirPrint, Android printing, or Mopria Print Service. Besides printing from gadgets, some Epson models can print right from cloud services (Google Cloud Print) and scan directly to cloud storage services (Scan to Cloud).
How to
How to change ink in Epson printer
You can easily check the cartridge status and ink remained using the screen of the printer or special printer software on your PC. And once a cartridge runs out of ink (or it's more than six months old), you'll need to change it. Remember that you should install new cartridges right after removing old cartridges, otherwise, printer head nozzles may dry out. So, in case your old cartridges have already run out of ink but you still haven't got a replacement, leave empty cartridges inside your printer. And once you get new ink cartridges, follow these simple steps:
- Switch on your Epson printer. You'll notice a message on its LCD screen, informing which particular cartridges require replacing. Then press "OK" button and choose "Replace now". If you're going to change an old cartridge even before you see a notification on the LCD display, you should press "Home" button and select "Setup" - "Maintenance" - "Ink Cartridge Replacement" - "OK".
- Lift up the scanner unit if you own an all-in-one device. Do not move the printer head by hand.
- To remove an old cartridge, squeeze the tab on it and lift it up. If you don't want to damage your printer, never try to refill a used cartridge.
- Before unpacking a new cartridge, shake it gently a bit.
- Open the cartridge, trying not to touch a chip on it.
- Remove a yellow tape from the cartridge.
- Insert it into the cartridge holder and push down until you hear a click informing you that it's installed properly.
- Press "Start".
The print head will return to its position and your printer will start charging the ink. This process usually takes less than 90 seconds. When the printer is ready to use, you will receive a confirmation message on the screen. Please dispose of old ink cartridges responsibly and stick to your local requirements. You can also send used ink cartridges to the Epson company for proper disposal.
How to connect Epson printer to Wi-Fi
Almost all Epson printers are equipped with Wi-Fi module today, so they can easily communicate with your PC or mobile device wirelessly. The setup process isn't very complicated. And the easiest way to set wireless networking is to use a control panel on your printer:
- Press "Home" button, choose "Wi-Fi Setup" and then press "OK". Follow all the instructions until you see "Wi-Fi Setup Wizard".
- Select the name of your Wi-Fi network and press "OK". In case you don't see your network's name, enter it manually.
- Enter the password of your Wi-Fi network and press "OK". You're connected and your Epson wireless printer is ready to work.
How to clean Epson printer head
Once prints become too light or with dark bands across them, you'll need to clean the printer head nozzles. Do note that cleaning requires some ink, so you won't be able to perform cleaning with empty cartridges. We recommend you to check whether nozzles become clogged so that you won’t clean them unnecessarily. To do this, you'll need to load a few sheets of paper in your printer, then press "Home" button - "Setup" - "Maintenance" - "Nozzle check". If everything is OK, the printer will show "Finish Nozzle Check" and if the printer head does require cleaning, the display will propose you to select "Head Cleaning". Press "OK" to start the cleaning cycle.
