- Especially nice are the 2 heads, for different floor types. (carpet and laminate or wood floors)
- Excellent product, capable all types of jobs, only complaint is that the long tube gets scratched fairly easy.
- This is our first Dyson. I was hesitant because it wasn’t a traditional roller-type vac... but it has not disappointed!
- If you can afford it buy it. You will not regret it. No matter what type of floors you have.
- This dyson is worth the purchase! Strong suction, good battery life, usable on variable surface types at one time.
- Washable filter, so it's good for people with allergies.
- Obviously, it’s nice that it’s cordless. You can get around the whole house without have to unplug and move it to a closer location.
- The cordless system is fantastic!
- Suction is amazing, almost as good as my Dyson Ball Animal vacuum, and I have not seen any decrease in suction so far.
- The main vacuum attachment (the largest head) is still so small. You spend more time covering all of the spots.
- It’s a great vacuum. Light weight and easy to use.
- It is perfect. I used before same brand. But v8 is absolutely perfect than others. More convenient, more light, easily clean with cord-free.
- I LOVE my cordless vacuum! Easy to use/charge and very lightweight.
- I purchased my dyson to get my steps and tight areas cleaned. I need it to be light weight due to having shoulder issues.
- The whole design of the V8 is good and simple, even the wall mount and charger
- Light, agile, and powerfull.
- Light, maneuverable, Extreme sucking power, easy to clean.
- Very easy to use and light weight.
- It is very light weight and only requires 1 hand to use.
- The Dyson V8 has many improved features from the V6.
- I use the vac for quick spot/area cleaning so the cordless feature (and how light it is) fits the bill. Another feature I like is no bags to constantly replace.
- This is a great improvement on the Dyson cordless vacuum. More power and battery life. I like the new easy to empty dirt feature.
- Waited for this V8 motor Dyson vacuum to go on sale, good product and use often, great cordless feature
- Great performance and features, easy to empty. On full power the battery will probably help clean one vehicle. But the standard selection is deceptively powerful.
- Dyson's easy accessory latches make changing out attachments easy and fast.
- The bristles seriously get so much dirt and dust out of the carpet. We have fairly long carpeting and even the parts in the house that have been pressed down so much they’re stuck like that, the bristles still manage to somewhat get in there.
- It comes with a lot of attachments and can be stored easier than an upright vacuum.
- The attachments included are perfect for my needs; the dusting attachments has made my life so much easier!
- Dust bin opens from the bottom (Huge flaw for the Animal version of this since hair gets stuck and is impossible to get out.)
- Not collapsible or extendable. It has one extension tube and you either hook it up or take it completely off.
- The wall holder/ charging station does not have enough holders for the four attachments included forcing me to create a storage place/ tote for the extra attachments.
- The battery lasts a while. It is a great cordless vacuum
- This is a replacement for my V6. Great improvement. Battery lasts more than 20 min.
- I had the previous model and 20 minutes of runtime didn't usually last long enough to do the whole house.
- Very easy to use, works great & battery holds charge
- Lasted four times before the battery would not charge anymore
- Has decent Power, even comes with a boost mode (which is most likely what you will always have it on).
- The suction strength compared to prior dyson models is amazing.
- Run time is actually only supposed to last around 8 mins per charge. (Instructions actually rate this at 8, I have gotten more time than that but not much more)
- The battery dies after a few minutes. I have a dog and kids and vacuum at least every other day, so it’s not a big issue. But I wouldn’t be able to do the entire house on one charge.
- Battery life is not that long, on average (without using the max power feature) I can go about 10-20 minutes depending on what attachment I am using.
