- Lightweight, easily stored, portable, good power, and straight cuts.
- Product is compact and light weight, yet provides sufficient work space.
- Plenty of power, light weight, and well designed.
- The saw is light in weight, which is a huge plus for me.
- Smooth motor, good fence, light weight and easy to use.
- I think it's a good table saw for the price considering size, weight and portability.
- Weight isn't too bad for a saw of this size, and the handle is well placed.
- It's surprisingly stable for it's weight and size.
- I like the small size and the weight is such that I can carry it to where I need it.
- The weight of the saw is manageable, and I have no issues carrying it around as needed.
- This saw cuts with ease. The ability to rip up to 24.5 inches has already come in handy in the first week of using it. It makes it easy to cut plywood by your self. and the gaurd once set up makes consistant accurate cuts every time.
- It is sturdy, it cuts like butter, it's extremely accurate, powerfull, and changing measurements is a pleasure.
- It will easily cut up to 24" wide and the my main concern, the fence functions accurately and can be set up to be perfectly square.
- Table cuts well, however it is clogged constantly, every time I use it.
- The safety guard must be removed to make a bevel cut at 45 deg. Another pain.
- One drawback is a lack of precision adjustment for the blade tilt. But I rarely cut anything other than 90 deg. cuts so it hasn't been a big deal.
- Cuts are fast and accurate and the rack and pinion fence is smooth and right on the money with any adjustments. Nice.
- It cuts very accurately and has great adjustment points to fine tune the rip fence.
- The riving knife keeps cuts straight and prevents wood separating from the fence like some other saws I have used.
- Pretty easy to make adjustments on depth and cutting angle.
- Awesome saw. Very easy to change settings like blade depth, angle, and rip dimension. Really a great addition to my shop.
- The safety guard is a little bulky and cumbersome. It makes cutting a little more tedious. I decided to remove mine and store it ...
- The rack and pinion fence is my favorite feature and keeps cuts true time and again.
- I like the fence, it is very easy to adjust and stays perfectly strait from one end to the other with out having to adjust both sides.
- The dust port is a plus, as I use this in my basement for projects. I highly recommend this unit.
- It is capable of performing cross and rip cuts with ease. Setup and breakdown is very simple and storage features are convenient.
- Downside - miter gauge is a joke if you need a good one consider adding some $.
- The only downside is that the fence rails move on a rack and pinion system, so if you were planning to build this saw into a cabinet and build table extensions, they would make it difficult.
- Excellent product, accurate. The only downside is the miter gauge.
- One of the great features is the thoughtfulness of the design to store all the components. The guard, push, and guide all are stored on the saw so that there is little chance of losing them.
- The rack and pinion adjustment on the fence is a really nice feature that makes setup really fast. Good jobsite saw.
- The instructions and safety features make it a stable tool and easy to use.
- The rip fence adjustment and lock. It works so smoothly. I've used fences where they can wiggle out of place as you're locking them; the dw745 does not.
- The surface coating isn't very durable (seems only cosmetic).
- The instructions for the saw are pretty vague on how to place all the accessories in the saw when finished.
