- Compact and portable, easy to move.
- Light weight, durable and mobile.
- Small storage footprint. Very stable on the 4 legged custom fit folding stand.
- Small footprint when in storage position. Great for those with limited space.
- 45 lbs light enough to carry by myself, or even cary one-handed if I strain myself.
- This saw is light weight enough that you can pick it up and move it without straining.
- The light weight of this unit is probably one of the most unexpected bonuses this saw has to offer. The ease of portability of this saw, combined with the solid performance and fast set-up makes this a favorite tool to use.
- This is my second Dewalt portable saw. Very light weight and easy to use. Like it a lot.
- Love it's compact size and weight. Gets the job done.
- It's light-weight enough to easily move and set-up in different locations and runs well on a small 2600W generator.
- Fence was perfect when I received the package so I had no problems with perfect 90* and adjustments.
- Rack and pinion fence adjustment is ultra precise. Making zero clearance inserts requires modifying the Riving knife so you can have a close ended insert.
- Plenty of power to go through hardwoods as well as not-entirely-dry Fir.
- Very accurate rail, alignment and cuts. Didn't need adjustment from factory settings for a long while.
- Carbide and riving knife were not aligned, but most pro carpenters do adjustments before any cuts. Not much of a problem.
- Included blade is mediocre. Buy a better one ASAP if you are doing anything but construction.
- Adjusting the blade to square at zero is clear. Adjusting the rip fence is easy once you look at the table in detail. The rip fence is ingenious.
- So far it has done everything I've asked of it and more. From cutting pressure treated 4x4 to ripping ply this saw performs above expectations. I highly recommend this saw for any do-it-yourselfer or pro who needs a good portable table saw.
- Very well built product...accurate cutting straight out of the box. Suits my purposes well.
- It has plenty of power to rip through lumber like cutting butter. I installed a 30 tooth Diablo blade to get a little better finish on boards for trim work. Highly recommend this product.
- Another good feature is a thin section on the fence that can be flipped over towards the blade when trimming a thin cut which prevents cutting your fence. I like the knee bump shut off switch which allows you to keep your eyes on your fingers.
- Blade parallel adjustment could be a pain.
- The first saw I got had an issue with the blade alignment and blade could not be aligned with the table opening. Amazon shipped me another unit the next day and return process was smooth. The second saw I got had no issues.
- On board storage for accessories GOOD (should have blade storage IMO however).
- The fence is very easy to use and accurate. Cuts through wood easily.
- Built in storage for most accessories that come with it.
- Cord. I was hoping that it would at least reach 15ft, but granted that I have an extension cord it doesn't really matter, at least for my personal use.
- Table surface is a little rougher than I would like. I'm going to put a few more coats of wax on it.
- There are a lot of safety features on this saw, and I suggest using all of them.
- My favorite feature is the dial adjustment of the rip fence. They removed all strain in setting a fence and made it extremely accurate but very little effort to adjust and lock down.
- The best feature is the easy measuring slides.
- My only negative comment would be that the safety features are rather fiddly. I spent more time than should have been necessary installing the anti-kick back piece.
- The "protective" coating on the table top is extremely delicate and is easily scratched by wood. That in itself is almost unbelievable.
