- This saw is very easy to use and very reliable. I use it all the time and it's a great saw.
- Great, small footprint as opposed to rail systems. Extremely smooth operation.
- Love wall hugging design. Also bought the gravity stand for mobility. The saw is very heavy.
- This thing is great. 12" makes it able to cut much more material and the best part is the compact design of the sliding unit.
- Only possible downside is the weight, but I also have the gravity rise table.
- Heavy, great for a fixed setup. Stiff.
- Pretty light weight and easy to grab and move (if needed).
- Light weight, great capacity and a nice built in work light as well.
- I liked the form factor and weight is great for a 12" saw.
- Heavy, a pain to move.
- Smooth motion when making miters and compound miters "like a knife through butter".
- Great power; accurate bevel; superb angle cuts..(Period). Don't settle for leading competitor brands.
- Accurate cuts, a smooth articulating arm matched with a strong motor make this compound miter saw best in its class.
- This saw has served me well for over a year now. The slide is smooth and effortless, the saw makes great cuts.
- It is very smooth, powerful and accurate. It has easily cut everything I have thrown at it. It is very well built and as a result is somewhat heavy but not unreasonably so.
- Basically 0 runout with my forest blade. Cuts those 12" panels like a breeze.
- R side cut to 60 degrees is super nice and extremely handy for larger than normal miter's - Left side to a little over 50 is also nice.
- R & L miter "click" stops for angles are also very accurate.
- The quality and accuracy of the cuts produced are great and the saw seems to have plenty of power.
- When using the depth stop the blade doesn't cut all the way to the fence, so have to use spacers in there.
- I found that the saw does not cut accurate 45 degree miters and the 45 degree detents are not adjustable. You either have accurate 90 degree cuts or one accurate 45 degree cut.
- This saw stood out to me because of the innovative glide mechanism versus the slide rails used by most competitors.
- The dust collection is superb, and the glide system couldn't be any smoother. The accuracy is spot on right out of the box and seems quite solid.
- I love the gravity rise stand as well, setting up is a breeze. After using this saw, I can't go back to any other!
- The two button on/off handle, make it great for switching from right to left or vis versa. This saw can sit right up against the wall, and you still can have the slider functions.
- One thing I was very surprised at is how well the dust collection is when hooked up. It's difficult to try to make a miter saw have zero dust but if you build a shroud around this and keep the dust collection hooked up, it's actually not too bad.
- Powerful, easy to set up and adjust, accurate using the advanced XPS cross cut positioning system, fairly good dust collection port.
- The LED light works great and is extremely accurate.
- My favorite feature is the XPS cross cut positioning system that lights the blade from both sides so you get a shadow of the actual kerf you are about to cut. Very nice!
- Hold down clamp is hard to use, slides are not as smooth as they should be.
- Tilt tightening screw is a bit cheesy. I have to get two hands on it and grunt to get it tight.
- Dust collection does not grab everything - even when I built an encasement and added a Jet dust collector. It does get most, but not all.
