This saw is lightweight and a real pleasure to use.
I LOVE this saw. It is light weight, powerful, and left-blade. Being right handed, it makes it very easy to see where the cut line is.
This saw is very well balanced, light for it size, and powerful.
The left-side blade is a great feature. Good sight-line, nice size, and well made.
The saw is well balanced but it is a FULL sized saw and hence a bit bulky/heavy.

This thing has a lot of kick. It's strong and durable and I couldn't find anything it wouldn't cut through easily.
This saw cuts through just about anything like a hot knife through butter. Best saw I ever owned
I am using a bosch recommended 40 tooth, general purpose blade and it cuts through my very wet, treated deck lumber like a hot knife through butter and the cut is perfectly clean, with hardly any resistance.
Has power, cuts straight acceptable weight and gets the job done, what more can you ask of anything.
The power is fantastic along with the durability. I've cut tons of wood with this saw from 2x4s to 4x8s and it handles them with ease.

Bosch CS5 Circular Saw

Works very well, clean cut, stable, powerful. I use this for all of my finishing and have other circular saws to beat on.
Fits almost all 7 1/4 inch blades, holds its own blade wrench. Soft handle so you can cut all day without sore hands.
The blade provided was also excellent. It's a solid machine with a rugged base.
The plate bevel is still a bit tough to square up and I'd like to find one with an electric brake. Otherwise, great quality saw that has seen tons of use and abuse and stood its ground.
Perfect for cutting opposite cuts on rafters without having to move your work around. works great to bevel window sills too.

Bosch CS10

I love the visibility, and this thing has a great sight-line while cutting. The motor has been rock solid, even after some hard use cutting a bunch of 8/4 hardwoods for 90 minutes straight.
Depth guide is very handy as is the hanger that's built into handle. Only concern is the plastic handles on angle and depth set bolts. I worry about their longevity, but we shall see.
Love the high rpm and the ability to angle the saw
I like how the height adjustment works, the little extra tilt and the power. The hook for hanging is a nice feature also.
The CS10 has great features and meets my needs extremely well. I really like the ease of adjustment on cut depth, allows for quick changes when working with multiple wood thicknesses/

Bosch CS5 Circular Saw

I'm right handed and prefer this style so I can see the saw blade better. I've used this to build garden bed, lay new decking and rip sheet goods down to size.
The left blade is really nice to use. works very well and has plenty of power for my home needs. All around affordable and quality saw.
Saw dust port is a pain but a piece of tape over the hole solved that. No blade brake on saw but my old saw didn't have one either so I'm used to being extra carefull.
I have owned this saw for about 18 months and am very pleased with the CS5. It is very well built and a powerful saw. It is used daily in my construction business.
I love the saw, but your covered with saw dust after using. The exhaust lets the saw dust blow back on user. It is a powerful saw and great to use
