- I have had this tool with stand for the last few months. What a joy to use. Heavyweight, rugged yet portable
- And talk about portability, a lot of work must of went into the design so that us Craftsmen don't have to worry about setting up or packing up, thanks Bosch you people got it right.
- This is a great little portable saw. It's very portable and packs down small. It's got more than enough power to rip hardwood and long sheets.
- Fits perfect in my work van and is very lightweight. Over the years I have found Bosch to be of the utmost quality.
- Compact and portable, easy to move.
- Light weight, durable and mobile.
- Small storage footprint. Very stable on the 4 legged custom fit folding stand.
- Small footprint when in storage position. Great for those with limited space.
- 45 lbs light enough to carry by myself, or even cary one-handed if I strain myself.
- This Bosch had no problem with it. Cuts through pine like butter. Absolutely straight cuts, easy to use.
- Rips my lumber with precision! Worked with an extremely difficult type wood and it finished it like a boss!
- Heavy duty, cuts hardwood great! Cuts through thick lumber with ease.
- Quick to set up out of the box, everything good and square with no tweaking required. Ripped nice cuts smoothly and effortlessly.
- Very powerful for both ripping and cross cuts with a pretty good dust removal system. The only drawback I see is the fence.
- Fence was perfect when I received the package so I had no problems with perfect 90* and adjustments.
- Rack and pinion fence adjustment is ultra precise. Making zero clearance inserts requires modifying the Riving knife so you can have a close ended insert.
- Plenty of power to go through hardwoods as well as not-entirely-dry Fir.
- Very accurate rail, alignment and cuts. Didn't need adjustment from factory settings for a long while.
- Carbide and riving knife were not aligned, but most pro carpenters do adjustments before any cuts. Not much of a problem.
- Included blade is mediocre. Buy a better one ASAP if you are doing anything but construction.
- Highly accurate, high percentage of metal parts versus plastic on competitors and everything is metal where it counts, bearings run silently and true and it feels safer than using something cheap.
- The Fence is very easy to adjust and after going through every measurement to make sure it was square and true I'm surprised how accurately it was set up in the factory.
- One of the features I found impressive was accepting a 1/2in Dado blade and for using this in a small shop with the option to move to where I'm working is exceptional.
- The saw has plenty of power to do most jobs and has a very efficient dust collecting outlet. I first used me saw to dado some parts and it did and outstanding job.
- The on board storage for the fence and gaurds is very nice
- On board storage for accessories GOOD (should have blade storage IMO however).
- The fence is very easy to use and accurate. Cuts through wood easily.
- Built in storage for most accessories that come with it.
- Cord. I was hoping that it would at least reach 15ft, but granted that I have an extension cord it doesn't really matter, at least for my personal use.
- Table surface is a little rougher than I would like. I'm going to put a few more coats of wax on it.
