An 8-cup food processor bowl provides perfect, even chopping and allows the blender to make up to 2 lbs. of dough in less than thirty seconds. The Nutri Ninja cups are great for preparing personalized, nutrient-rich drinks. The to-go lids that come with these cups will also allow you to take those drinks with you to the gym or office.
The blender is relatively loud.

Sure, it isn't the cheapest option, but what it offers in return more than justifies the price.

Ninja BL770
1500 Watts of Power
People often downplay the importance of power when it comes to countertop blenders. And while that's understandable, the motor's power is arguably the most important characteristic of a blender. There's really no downside to having as much power as possible, especially since a less capable appliance simply won't be able to handle thick, frozen cocktails sorbets, and granitas. Following this train in thought, it doesn't really come as a particular surprise that Ninja Mega Kitchen System is one of the best-selling products of SharkNinja.
Though, as the name of the model suggests, what we have here isn't just a blender but an actual kitchen system, it isn't really the most interesting thing about this appliance. No, that title would have to go to the blender's 1500 watts of power. With that much firepower under the compact hood, the model will be able to simply demolish some of the sturdiest seeds and nuts. Naturally, that much power combined with Total Crushing™ blades and 72 oz. Total Crushing Pitcher® will allow the Ninja blender to crush loads of ice in a blink of an eye in order to prepare the most delicious smoothies and creamy frozen drinks.
The Right Design
Of course, in order to justify the title of a Mega Kitchen System, a single container simply won't do. Which is why, in addition to the aforementioned pitcher, the manufacturers have also included an 8-cup food processor bowl and two 16 oz. Nutri Ninja cups. The biggest advantage of the former is that it provides perfect, even chopping and allows the blender to make up to 2 lbs. of dough in less than 30 seconds. As for the Nutri Ninja cups, they're best used for preparing personalized, nutrient-rich drinks. The to-go lids that come with these cups will also allow you to take those drinks with you to the gym or office.
By the way, despite the model's nutrient and vitamin extracting capabilities and the ridiculous amount of power that makes the latter possible, the entire unit adds up to just about 9.5 x 8 x 18 inches in overall dimensions, so it won't really take away too much of your countertop space, especially considering what this Ninja blender offers in return. The control panel is also about as simple as it gets, with low, medium, and high speed setting buttons that are suitable for making dough, blending fruits and vegetables, and crushing ice, respectively. There's also a single serve button and a pulse button, both of which provide the functions that should be familiar to anyone who has ever used a countertop blender.
All things considered, what we have here isn't just a simple kitchen appliance that can be used for preparing drinks but an actual kitchen system that is capable of making dough or serving a number of smoothies for as many people as you want. Sure, it isn't the cheapest option, but what it offers in return more than justifies the price.

Ninja BL660
Pulverize Ice and Frozen Fruits
The Ninja BL660 Professional Blender, as you'd infer from the name, is being advertised as a professional blender. But what is it exactly that differentiates a professional blender from a regular one? Well, in the case of this Ninja blender, the difference mostly lies in the amount of power. Given that the model features precisely 1100 watts of professional performance power, it should probably go without saying that it is capable of crushing any food item in a matter of seconds.
Not dissimilar to the majority of high-end Ninja blenders, this nifty kitchen appliance comes equipped with the Total Crushing™ blades and a set of different containers. First off, there's the 72 oz. Total Crushing® Pitcher. Though the name is slightly bombastic, it is also not inaccurate as it takes the blades mere seconds to pulverize frozen fruits and solid chunks of ice. Suffice it to say, these blades are simply perfect when it comes to ice crushing, blending, and controlled processing, meaning that you will be able to enjoy creamy frozen drinks and smoothies. A couple of 16 oz. Nutri Ninja Cups, on the other hand, will prove to be more suitable for preparing personalized, nutrient-rich drinks that you can always take with you. To help with the latter, the manufacturers also made sure to include a couple of to-go lids.
For You and Your Family
Now, while we're still on the subject of performance, we would also like to mention that, just like any other really good blender, the model includes three different speed settings that will allow you to make drinks and smoothies according to your preferences. And though the XL 72-ounce bowl capacity will obviously prove to be particularly great for making drinks and smoothies for the entire family, the blender also comes with a single-serve function, so you will just as easily be able to prepare a drink for yourself. The pulse function is also there, which is perfect for blending frozen ingredients and making things like salsa.
As for the appliance's composition, all parts are BPA free and the blades are made out of durable metal. The whole thing features about 8 x 6 x 17 inches in overall dimensions, so it isn't the smallest blender out there but it won't take away too much of your countertop space either. Though the model is not particularly difficult to operate, the company behind it still recommends referring to the user manual before you use the blender for the first time.
To rephrase our earlier point, the Ninja BL660 Professional Blender certainly deserves the title of a professional blender. It is a powerful appliance that will allow you to make drinks for the entire family as well as prepare delicious smoothies for yourself.

Ninja BL610
The Speed That You Need
The Ninja BL610 is the sort of blender that combines the industry standards that people have grown accustomed to and the company's very own ideas about kitchen appliances.
Starting with design, we would like to point out the model's sleek composition that makes it slightly but noticeably stand out from other Ninja blenders. As it usually is the case, the kitchen appliance includes a control panel with 5 self-explanatory buttons: Power, Pulse, Low, Medium, and High. Naturally, the latter three buttons refer to the model's speed settings. The lowest one is suitable for chopping some of the softer ingredients that you need to make salsa, puree soft veggies, and marinades. The medium speed setting is perfect for chopping harder food items like cheese or nuts. It will also be able to crush ice for chilled drinks and snow cones. And, as some of you may know, you're going to rely on the high speed setting whenever you feel like preparing shakes and smoothies.
Of course, if you wish to chop some veggies but do not exactly feel like making a smoothie out of them, the pulse function is exactly what you need. On top of that, the function is also useful when it comes to removing air pockets, so you won't need to open the jar and mix the ingredients with a spatula.
Ice Doesn't Stand a Chance
Having said all of that, crushing ice or frozen fruits as well as chopping some of the harder food items isn't that simple of a task. Well, that would be the case if the model didn't come equipped with a 1000-watt motor that offers more than enough power for outstanding performance. Of course, it isn't just the motor that contributes to the said performance but also the Ninja Total Crushing technology that utilizes Total Crushing™ blades. With the latter tools in the proverbial toolbox, it takes this Ninja blender mere seconds to completely pulverize ice and crush the frozen fruit.
Featuring precisely 10.6 x 8.2 x 15.8 inches in overall dimensions, this is certainly not the most compact option on the market. But that doesn't really come as a surprise since this is another Ninja model that includes the 72 oz. Total Crushing® Pitcher, the sort of blender jar that will allow you to prepare smoothies and frozen drinks for your entire family. And, again, since we're talking about a Ninja appliance, the recipe book comes without saying and so is the fact that all of the parts are BPA free and dishwasher safe.
All in all, we would recommend this Ninja blender to the kind of customers who would be interested in one of the most well-balanced options on the market. Whether you're looking for power, functionality, or a stylish design, the model in question should absolutely not disappoint you.

Ninja HB152
The Ninja Approach
Sometimes, you can say that Ninja blenders are overpriced and, to some degree, you would be right. At the very least, they're not the cheapest blenders, not even close. But, considering what these appliances are usually packing, we seldom believe that the folk at Ninja are being unreasonable asking as much as they ask for these blenders. Take the Ninja HB152, for instance.
Can you find a less expensive blending appliance? Sure, you can. Will that appliance be packing a 1400-peak-watt motor base delivering the company's signature total crushing and extraction blades that let you prepare mouthwatering smoothies, resort-style frozen drinks, and nutrient extractions? Unlikely. Will that appliance be also packing an 800-watt precision heating element that lets you cook hearty and smooth soups within minutes, simmer flavorful sauces, or melt chocolate and cheese into fondue? Not a chance. This is where Ninja blenders are different from the pack - they're unwilling to compromise, not something as important as blenders' core application.
Where the Magic Happens
Saying that this appliance is compromising form is a little misleading though since this is also one attractive model, even by the company's high standards. The stainless steel elements look sleek, with the black parts contrasting them but without making one part seem less important than the other one.
The console is where the magic happens though, with the Auto-iQ® setup presenting 12 intelligent programs using automated pulsing and pausing patterns with precision temperature control. In other words, you press one button and the unit delivers almost unrivalled blending and cooking programs, making protein shakes, preparing ice cream, heating fruit, melting chocolate, toasting spices, and more.
In closing, the Ninja HB152 is all about streamlining cooking and blending. With this appliance, even the laziest, most uninspired bachelors can prepare not just tasty snacks and healthy ingredients but complete nutritional meals.

Ninja BN701
Updated Auto-iQ programs
The Ninja BN701 is marketed as the company's more professional model, which is saying a lot considering that Ninja appliances are always plenty professional to begin with. So, where is the model's 'pro' disposition coming from? First off, the appliance comes endowed with updated Auto-iQ programs. These programs combine unique pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns, so you can experiment with new ingredients and prepare delicious dishes.
To add more, the model is excellent at crushing ice. Integrating an Ice Crush program, this machine simplifies processing margaritas, daiquiris, and milkshakes. You can also make sorbet, sherbet, and frozen yogurt. With the Smoothie program, you'll have no issues blending both fresh and frozen fruits, milk, yogurts, protein shakes, and more. The model's not great with tough ingredients like carrots, but is fine with soft fruits and vegetables.
Since this is not the company's flagship blender (not even close), the fact that the appliance will occasionally struggle to produce puree with perfect consistency comes as no surprise. What is surprising and somewhat disappointing is that this machine struggles with soups and hot ingredients. On the plus side, it is quite superb at chopping and mixing. Making side dishes with this machine is an absolute breeze, from coleslaw to different salad dressings, marinades, and various mixes. While the BN701 cannot quite knead the dough, you can make pancakes and cookies.
Covering Medium-Duty Jobs
Barring the programs we've outlined above, the model includes standard three standard speed settings and the company's staple pulse function. The first speed setting will work like gangbusters chopping soft ingredients, crushing ice, and pureeing cheese and nuts. The medium speed setting will be able to mix dips, mixes, and spreads. And, as always, the highest speed setting is there to make sure the appliance can process smoothies and shakes.
Performance-wise, the motor's pretty good, consuming 1400 watts and covering medium-duty jobs with relative ease. We're not crazy about its plastic parts since they're not temperature- and stress-resistant, and the lid that gets stuck sometimes when you close it. We do like the blades staggered around the shaft though, improving the model's side cutting.
With all that in mind, the Ninja BN701 is not quite the company's most impressive blender yet but, from a price-performance perspective, this is the model to beat.

What Is a Ninja Blender?
In order to live a healthy life, we all need a number of nutrients that vegetables, fruit, greens, nuts, and seeds are full of. The only problem with those food items is that it is seldom easy to extract all of those nutrients without additional help. And that is where blenders come in. As you probably know, a blender is a kitchen appliance that is used to mix, purée, or emulsify food and other substances. And even though SharkNinja, the company behind Ninja blenders, is one of the leading manufacturers of kitchen appliances, the core principles remain the same.
With the help of a Ninja blender, you will be able to consume all of the healthy and useful vitamins and minerals without having to waste your time on meal preparation. Furthermore, drinking the deliciously nutritious smoothies instead of gorging on food is not a bad way to lose some weight.
So, given that these blenders don't really cost that much, take far less time than preparing your own meal, and offer a much healthier alternative to the regular way people consume their food, we can't think of a reason not to give them a try.
However, if you actually like cooking, you might also want to look into our slow cooker review or get yourself a bread maker.
What Features to Compare
Even though you wouldn't really describe any Ninja blender (or any kind of countertop blender, for that matter) as a particularly complicated appliance, there are still a few things you need to keep in mind when you go looking for the right model.
Power
First things first, you should always pay attention to the amount of power that the model comes equipped with. Simply put, the more powerful the blender is, the better it is when it comes to pulverizing some of the harder food items and things like ice and frozen fruits. Of course, it also comes down to the kind of servings that you're going to be dealing with. If you don't plan on making drinks and desserts for an entire family, there's really no reason to overpay for a more powerful model and you can just as easily stick with the kind of appliance that features a lower wattage.
Blades
That said, it isn't just the amount of power that determines the blender's blending and grinding capabilities but also the kind of blades that the particular product comes with. Fortunately enough, that isn't really that much of an issue with Ninja blenders. The more professional models from the said company usually come equipped with Total Crushing™ blades that are capable of crushing and pulverizing just about anything that you throw into the jar. Since the less professional appliances do not require that kind of power, you would usually find one of these models packing Nutri Ninja Pro Extractor blades. As the name suggests, these blades are perfect for extracting the healthy nutrients out of the fruits and vegetables.
Bowl Capacity
Of course, whether you decide to go with a smaller unit or a professional blender, make sure to check the bowl capacity of the containers that come with the package. As you would imagine, it doesn't really matter how powerful your model is or how capable its blades are if it doesn't include a jar that will allow you to put all of that power to good use.
Settings
Finally, try to keep in mind the number and the type of settings that the blender incorporates. While some may only include the pulse function, certain models come equipped with different speed settings. Generally speaking, the low speed setting is reserved for chopping softer ingredients while the medium and the high one are needed for dealing with harder food items, crushing ice, and preparing smoothies.
Did you know?
A blender seems like a relatively basic kitchen appliance with a fairly simple idea behind it. You throw some fruits or vegetables into the jar, you mix them together, and, et voila, you have yourself a smoothie or a refreshing drink full of nutrients. However, you may be surprised to know that even the most basic kitchen blender presents far more options than one would expect. On that note, we thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to share with you some of the things that you can make using a standard countertop blender.
Flour
Now, it may sound a bit absurd, but you can actually make a freshly milled flour without putting in a ton of effort and with no fancy equipment by your side. Simply put about two cups of wheat berries into the jar and let the blender do its thing. After that, sift and repeat until the job is done. By the way, the particular method can also be used with oats.
Almond Milk
Almond milk isn't just a delicious substitution to the regular milk but an absolute necessity for lactose-intolerant individuals that like to put milk in their coffee or mix their cereal with it just like the rest of us mortals. And, fortunately enough, a regular blender is all the equipment you need to make delicious homemade almond milk. What you will need to do is get some almonds and soak them overnight in water. With that out of the way, throw the almonds into the blender, blend them well and strain what's left of it. The result will be a jar full of the most delicious nutty milk. Just keep in mind that fresh almond milk doesn't last more than a few days in the fridge, so try not to go overboard and make only as much milk as you need.
Compost
Whether you have a few houseplants at home or a small garden, there's a good chance you have always wanted to make compost but never really got around to it since the whole thing seems messy and complicated. Well, it may certainly be the case if you're not willing to be creative with your kitchen appliances. All it takes is a bunch of soft food scraps and a blender. Just throw the former into the latter and blend them up. The leftovers will easily break down, meaning that they'll be able to serve as an instant compost that you can use to fertilize your plants.
Body Scrub
You may be under the impression that the only thing your blender is good for is making liquid food and drinks. Well, given that we're talking about a kitchen appliance, that isn't necessarily the worst guess. However, that isn't entirely correct. For instance, all it takes is all-natural olive oil, sea salt, and citrus to produce the kind of refreshing scrub that will make you look as delicious as a fresh smoothie. Furthermore, the whole thing takes less than five minutes, meaning that you can make some for yourself or prepare a gift for your loved ones.
Other than that, any Ninja blender can be used to make all kinds of things, from powdered sugar and salad dressings to fresh butter and lotion. Heck, you can even use one of these models to make soup or turn it into a lamp if you feel so inclined. Now, that's not too bad for a seemingly simple kitchen appliance if we do say so ourselves.
