This machine is very simple to operate; the only variable available is the speed. I load up the jar, insert the tamper, start on lowest speed and when the big chunks are pulverized I increase the speed and let it blend at high for 20-30 seconds.
Frozen berries are quickly done and at the high speed, seeds and steel cut oats turn particulate.
The blade speed and power are just incredible. Vegetable and fruit peels and seeds are no match. You chuck it in there and turn it to 10 (vitamix should make it go to 11). Buy this immediately!
This blender is a big, hungry beast! There is nothing it can't take down (within reason, of course)! One of the strongest motors we've ever seen, and turns out a very SMOOTH product! Very large capacity!
Low-profile 64 ounce container that comes with it is unusable for 1-2 servings. Our reconditioned unit broke after 3 uses.

I wanted the pulse button (because I have used that feature a lot with my Cuisinart) as well as the variable speed dial and the shorter, low profile jar. This Vitamix is fantastic.
The container has more than enough capacity for my personal needs. The motor is more than capable of handling the raw or frozen fruits & veggies I put in it.
After buying this 7500 I was very disappointed this model is just as loud as to 5200...and the speed is the same as the 5200 as it was stated in the write up.
Top speed seems to be a bit less, so some foods like hummus don't become as smooth.

Seems like an extremely durable piece of equipment. Great for daily use.
The shorter container fits under my upper cabinets, so it doesn't take up any more space than the replaced blender occupied.
The blender itself is very heavy duty. The container is relatively wide and short, which makes it easy to use, clean and store.
It is pretty heavy so smaller folks may have some trouble.

Nothing compares to this product. Heavy, Durable and works better then anything I’ve ever bought seems expensive yet it’s worth every penny.
The base is heavy and solid, with good feel to the controls.
Very versatile and powerful. Heavy and well constructed.
It is a little bulky and I wish the machine was a little quieter, but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

CRUSHES ice. This was my biggest complaint for my previous blender. Makes perfect smoothies, margaritas, etc.
The 3 controls is a significant improvement over the 8 speed-selecting buttons on the front that were hard to keep clean.
The pulse feature on the blender is great! I've made pesto, salsa and other things with this feature!
The wide container is my favorite feature because it makes cleanup a breeze. My smoothie game has been raised to a 10. It also comes with a great recipe book for non-smoothie uses.

Love the video instructions that came with this blender (such an ordinary name for something so extraordinary!). They made me feel like a pro.
It's easy to clean. Fill it up with water and a drop of soap (and for me occasionally I'll add a little white vinegar to get something greasy off of it) and let it whirl.
It has a 7 year warranty and they stand by their product. Made in the USA. I'm happy with that!!
It's super easy to clean - just don't use anything abrasive, it will scratch the plastic and I highly recommend avoiding the dishwasher. Hand wash only!
Crapped out making soup after 8th use. Have barely had it a year. Electrical smell and Motor froze after only using pulse mode.

Awesome! fast, powerful and EASY to CLEAN!
I had the 5200 for about 6 years and liked it very much. Vitamix had a trade in program which I took advantage of. The 7500 is more powerful, fits under the counter, and I wanted red.
It is a wonderful, powerful blender that surpasses all others and the nice wide container is easy to empty and clean.
Powerful motor that blends smoothies and frozen drinks better than my previously owned blenders.
The powerful motor has no problem with frozen fruit/veggies, making awesome smoothies (use it almost every day!).
