I also use it to make smoothies for breakfast, and it does a great job of that, too -- bonus is that I don't have to use/clean the big jar for those since it comes with two personal-sized jars that are just the right size and fit in the top rack of the dishwasher like any ol' cup.
I use the two small drink mixers to grind almonds into flour, flax seeds into flour, and start the basics of a recipe if I need to chop up or mix up spices in preparation of a recipe. I cannot praise the quality of Ninja too much -- their products are phenomenal in my kitchen.
3 blades are so much better than the standard 1 blade blender. The individual cups are convenient as well.
The long blade stem helps a lot when you put a larger amount, I am guessing some people who had consistency issues, only made very small batches or didn't run it long enough.
Also, I have to scrape the sides after adding protein powder (before and after blending) because the blender leaves large clumps on the sides.

his blender is very powerful and Strong.The blades are extremely sharp, and there are three elevated blades which help to gets blended,everything from top to bottom.
Easy to use blender. Works great and has different speeds. I usually only use speed 1 and it works perfect to make my smoothies!

The real value is with the small blender cups. They're the perfect size for making protein shakes and pre/post workout shakes while heading out the door.
It doesn't feel as heavy as my other blender, though they use suction cups instead of weight to prevent it from dancing on your counter top.
The blades themself are very sharp and the pitcher seems to be very light weight but sturdy.
The blender is a monster in a small container. We especially enjoy the two small single-serving blending containers for making smoothies.
This has been a great addition to my small kitchen. I love the safety feature with lid that locks and the on button that waits until you actually press the button for what you want to do.

This is the BEST all purpose blender/juicer I have every owned. The size is great because I spend hardly no time preparing my food.
I looked at many blenders and read many reviews before deciding on this one.I appreciate the powerful motor with the relatively compact size. The 72 ounce jar along with the single serving jars makes it very versatile.
really love the small cup attachment blade for single servings and the lid transfers on to it so less clean up required. easy size to manage.
The blades work very well and everything gets blended very quickly. It is very lightweight and never leaks or makes a mess.

This is really great with frozen fruits, which I use a lot to make smoothies for my family. It has a large capacity also - if I fill it up it is enough for all 5 of us, so I don't have to make 2 batches. Cleans up very well in the dishwasher.
Also really awesome to have the "to go" cups (though I usually want to add more than they have capacity for--not blending capacity, just physical space) and only 1 base for the blender & food processor (also works so well--it's nice having more than 1 blade that I'm used to). Saves space!
Great item for milkshakes, and really crushing ice without burning out the monitor. hopefully this item will last longer than my other blenders.
Both the food processor and the large blender work beautifully. Made fresh strawberry smoothies and mmmmmm. All good. As many reviews on line indicate, it is very loud but goes through ice like nothing.
Used it for smoothies, great so far. really does an excellent job crushing ice for a thick slushy drink with no ice chunks.

We found this little gem and it's been wonderful. The single serving blend cups are absolutely perfect for what we need. It makes very fiberous foods have a very smooth consistency in less than 30 seconds.
IT IS PERFECT. In 5 seconds the work is done: apples, carrots, celery, lettuce and ice... everything blended in the most amazing way.
Outstanding blender and smoothie maker. Love having 2 single serve glasses that have their own blending teeth. Looks great on the counter.
It is easy to keep clean. It comes with rubber suction cups which keep it from moving and in place, making it easy to walk away and leave it blending.
The only thing that indo not like about it is how loud it is. Other than that the product is great.
