- Unless you are some super gamer, ultra power user with some crazy fast and expensive computer, this hard drive will be quite sufficient for you in terms of speed.
- Overall its an amazing SSD, really fast and great read and write speeds
- I put a 480gb version in my 5 year old Lenovo T420 with Windows 10 & 8gb of memory and the thing is amazingly fast!
- Granted, I knew that this Drive I was purchasing was by far not the best but by far not the worse!
- Great ssd. Has been reliable so far. I have an evo 850 on another desktop and I cannot tell the speed difference of anyone cares.
- So I have the need for speed when I spend a few hours editing these files and this...is the drive used and it can't be too fast.
- After installing Windows 10 on this hard drive, I was blown away by the speed.
- It's done a great job so far handling all of these tasks with speed.
- I had no idea just how much faster my computer would be with this hard drive.
- When the drive works as advertised, the speed is still great. Will not choose Sandisk again in the future for an SSD Solution.
- This SSD was priced great when I bought it... It features the latest type of memory which is more reliable than the previous type for SSDs. I
- The Ultra II is a bit newer SSD with designed mid-level performance (for a SSD) and economy pricing.
- More importantly this drive will start to degrade data when it nears it's low design life and if kept in a hot area, will degrade, not good.
- Using less RAM, fan is much quieter, boot time is under 20 seconds, loading programs and opening files are instantaneous. No spin wheels for me anymore.
- My PC only supports SATA3, and this drive is backwards compatible with the older SATA. Highly recommend a SSD to bring life to an older PC.
- And some extra features and specification it offers over cheaper alternatives may prove its value in long term.
- I'm a consumer who is not into gaming. I see that one of the promoted features of this SSD is improved gaming speed and performance.
- The 10 year warranty was an amazing feature!
- SSD have no moving parts, thus very quiet and resist damage from vibration. This makes them ideal for laptops.
- I think Apple tests their OS with flash drives, so as they increase the Input/Output read write counts when adding features/security protections, they don't notice the issues caused in systems with using hard disks.
