- It's great, especially for my purposes in editing. Getting this drive will ensure that the hard drive is no longer bottle-necking your system in any way.
- Everything from boot up to the launching of apps is a hundred-fold faster and I'm absolutely happy with my purchase.
- Works right out of the box, no problems. Improved my windows 8 disc score to almost maximum.
- I like these drives a lot. They are reasonably priced, perform well. If you are looking for a way to boost performance on your laptop or desktop, an SSD drive is the way to go.
- This SSD is fast. But more importantly for me and should be for everyone, is the SanDisk reliability record. Highly recommended.
- Random reboots hurt. Every day or other day I experience a random reboot. The other SSD boot drive in this system has never done this, so it has to be this SSD.
- The product is well constructed. The 500gb SSD has plenty of room for pretty much everything, operating system, games, and all of my most used programs.
- OMG! This thing is not just fast it is AMAZING! This is, quite simply, the new biggest upgrade you can make to computer speed.
- There is no hard drive related sounds, etc. The computer has become super quiet. So quiet that sometimes I hear the basal high-pitched noise coming from the motherboard.
- If you are like me and tired of having traditional hard drives die on you get an SSD. This is the smallest one I would recommend. It is worth the upgrade!
- There are NO links to this drive that allow you to contact customer support for the shoddy software. Think twice. A drive is only as good as the support.
- The drive runs great...couldn't be happier, and now I'm prepared for the future to have a good drive to make my main, down the road when 500gb SSD's become more affordable for backup.
- Low heat, low power, light weight, fast performance, rugged, easy and fast install and my first SSD.
- The boot-up is much faster, and the performance increase substantial. I have two of these drives in my home-built desktop. They installed with no issues.
- The computer now boots extremely quickly and games run much faster and smoother. I store my photos and movies to an external RAID storage device. I love it.
- It said it goes 500 MB/s but unfortunately, it only goes like 250 max so I was pretty dissapointed. But it is good.
- I highly suggest adding this SSD to your computer or laptop. This drive lets me boot up my PC in under 10 seconds, and game loading is practically nonexistent.
- I turned on the laptop and it took a good 30 seconds to load with a standard HD with windows 8. With this new SSD it takes 4 seconds to load the operating system! yes 4 SECONDS!
- From cold start to a working desktop, it takes 23 seconds with the SSD vs. 42 seconds with the HDD. Photoshop loads in 3.9 seconds vs. 12 seconds. It's like buying a new computer.
- After the installation of the SSD, you will pretty much see improvements: start up times, opening up programs, the browser, better battery life, less heat, better reliability, etc.
- The package contains only the drive, no cables or adapters. Larger drives are available for less. The bad part about the drive is the frustrating included software.
