- Especially nice are the 2 heads, for different floor types. (carpet and laminate or wood floors)
- Excellent product, capable all types of jobs, only complaint is that the long tube gets scratched fairly easy.
- This is our first Dyson. I was hesitant because it wasn’t a traditional roller-type vac... but it has not disappointed!
- If you can afford it buy it. You will not regret it. No matter what type of floors you have.
- This dyson is worth the purchase! Strong suction, good battery life, usable on variable surface types at one time.
- It's very lightweight. There is no cord. The canister is bigger then the V6.
- All that time you spend dragging out the bulky old fashioned vacuum is over. No more plugging and unplugging. So you save time there.
- It has no cord - super easy to maneuver around without cord in the way.
- The capacity of the cylinder is plenty. It may look small, but everything gets whirled tightly. Also, it was so easy to hold the unit over the trash bin and let the dirt fall out of the cylinder from below.
- I especially like the HEPA filter feature as my allergies seem to have decreased since we started using it.
- It’s a great vacuum. Light weight and easy to use.
- It is perfect. I used before same brand. But v8 is absolutely perfect than others. More convenient, more light, easily clean with cord-free.
- I LOVE my cordless vacuum! Easy to use/charge and very lightweight.
- I purchased my dyson to get my steps and tight areas cleaned. I need it to be light weight due to having shoulder issues.
- The whole design of the V8 is good and simple, even the wall mount and charger
- Super lightweight. Go ahead and do it one handed because this baby doesn’t need all your body weight to move from room to room.
- Easy to carry and lift up stairs.
- It cleans well, is light weight, well balanced and easy to maneuver.
- All the weight is on your hand and forearm which gets tired of holding it after one room!
- The arm is a little short. I'm a short person, but I find myself standing at an awkward tilt vacuuming and the arm is not adjustable. How could a tall person even use this?
- The Dyson V8 has many improved features from the V6.
- I use the vac for quick spot/area cleaning so the cordless feature (and how light it is) fits the bill. Another feature I like is no bags to constantly replace.
- This is a great improvement on the Dyson cordless vacuum. More power and battery life. I like the new easy to empty dirt feature.
- Waited for this V8 motor Dyson vacuum to go on sale, good product and use often, great cordless feature
- Great performance and features, easy to empty. On full power the battery will probably help clean one vehicle. But the standard selection is deceptively powerful.
- Lot of different accessories to help clean in different environments.
- The charging stand is a good accessory. I love it!
- My favorite feature is how easy it is to empty the dirt bin, and if/when my long hair will be stuck on the roller I will be able to disassemble and clean it properly.
- You have to hold the trigger down the entire time. That's about the only downside.
- The manual doesn't have enough information on how to put all the parts back together if all all of it fall apart.
- The battery lasts a while. It is a great cordless vacuum
- This is a replacement for my V6. Great improvement. Battery lasts more than 20 min.
- I had the previous model and 20 minutes of runtime didn't usually last long enough to do the whole house.
- Very easy to use, works great & battery holds charge
- Lasted four times before the battery would not charge anymore
- The charge lasts long enough to do the full house.
- I want to say that the battery lasts longer than I expected .
- Sucks up literally anything... we have two medium pile wool natural fiber rugs and they did release some fibers but not too much shedding.
- The battery life is more than enough to clean the house, including an area rug, and still have juice for small jobs.
- I wish the charge on the vacuum cleaner lasted a little longer.
