- I am not certain why, but the picture appears to be more distinct on my 1535 than it is on my XXL.
- The touch screen responds much better than on my earlier units, though I do wish they hadn't changed to toll road warnings from "Do you want to AVOID toll roads" to "Do you want to INCLUDE toll roads."
- Easy to use: the menu options are laid out in a vivid format, and completely guide you through the set up.
- Displays lots of useful info such as distance to destination and current street you are driving on (which Garmin does not show).
- Screen does tend to wash out in direct sunlight.
- Accuracy: It's not terrible when it comes to destinations, but there are a few that just don't line up. Like any mapping and GPS, there are bound to be some flukes in the system.
- Fast shipping, works great, nice screen.
- I was SO looking forward to using this GPS unit with its large screen, lane assist, POIs and especially the voice recognition.
- The screen is much more responsive, the unit connects faster to the satellites, and it is much easier to find alternate routes.
- We have had good luck with this Garmin GPS. The landscape or portrait option for the screen is one of my favorites. Works well with my motorcycle and the car.
- Even though it is a 5" screen, the image of the map is small and not as colorful as the last Garmin I had. Tried all of the adjustments, but nothing helped. However the other features are very good.
- If you set the speed limit option will beep when you get over speed limit, had to turn off on freeways, but would be good in other areas.
- Like the lifetime maps and traffic, they will tell you online new downloads but mostly just trying to sell you other features.
- Like the graphic's, a lot like my old one so familiar. Used it on the center console but the window sticker works good.
- Had no trouble going online to setup, took some time and a little confusing but not to bad. It worked first time, think you have to set it up first use.
- While the attached mount was a good idea, it just doesn't have the functionality of a removable one.
- The voice commands proved to be about useless, it does a poor job of understanding you voice commands. you had to put in street or place you want to go. If you use the POI's it doesn't always have some near you.
- There are some good features about it, like the ability to use it as a hands-free speaker phone.
- This unit filled the need of some international travel and upgrades from our previous model. The price was right as well. The bluetooth features are a plus along with the additional features including lifetime maps. The traffic feature works better as well.
- Love it! Especially the feature that lets you know there's traffic congestion ahead.
- Love it! I bought it to replace my old Garmin Nuvi that has become unreliable after all of these years of faithful service. This one ls a bit larger and has more memory. I have already used it on a couple of short trips and it works perfectly.
- The bluetooth feature that allows you to take calls from your phone is an absolute joke. The volume is barely audible and with the sound turned all the way up. I
- I purchased the Garmin nuvi 2595LMT and was very disappointed. This Garmin was supposed to be a refurbished gps but I think when they erased the original information on the GPS they did not reset the gps therefore, it was unable to receive my location and allow me to enter my location or any address
