- Screen touch is a plus vs. other brand; respondents are faster as well. This is the main reason I started looking for Garmin brand.
- Easy to read display. Good traffic alerts. Easy update, setup and lots of options. It improves as you use it.
- Good voice, wall mount control, toll free options, options for restaurants.
- Large display is easy to read, finding your way around the units features is easy once you get how they do it..enclosed window mount was very good and easy to move around.....colors are pleasant.
- New interface takes a bit of getting used to for those of us coming from old Garmin menu system.
- Typing is annoying comparing to cellphone, it brings you very complicated routes that you would never choose if you knew other simple options.
- Fast shipping, works great, nice screen.
- I was SO looking forward to using this GPS unit with its large screen, lane assist, POIs and especially the voice recognition.
- The screen is much more responsive, the unit connects faster to the satellites, and it is much easier to find alternate routes.
- We have had good luck with this Garmin GPS. The landscape or portrait option for the screen is one of my favorites. Works well with my motorcycle and the car.
- Even though it is a 5" screen, the image of the map is small and not as colorful as the last Garmin I had. Tried all of the adjustments, but nothing helped. However the other features are very good.
- "Lifetime maps" is a great feature - especially compared to the cost of buying current maps every other year.
- The lane assist icon is very helpful once you get used to it (refer to cons for more).
- It comes with audio book, where I parked, etc. features... however, not really usefully to me. I just need the navigation.
- The lane assist icon shows you what lane to be in but you need to know when to do that. If you do it as soon as it shows up, then you will often end up in a "turn only" lane before you get to your actual exit.
- Navigation: It does not have quick way to see a large map area and I have to use the "-" sign to zoom it out; while driving, it is not safe enough to use the "-" sign for couple times... then the destination will be gone, and I have to start over.
- There are some good features about it, like the ability to use it as a hands-free speaker phone.
- This unit filled the need of some international travel and upgrades from our previous model. The price was right as well. The bluetooth features are a plus along with the additional features including lifetime maps. The traffic feature works better as well.
- Love it! Especially the feature that lets you know there's traffic congestion ahead.
- Love it! I bought it to replace my old Garmin Nuvi that has become unreliable after all of these years of faithful service. This one ls a bit larger and has more memory. I have already used it on a couple of short trips and it works perfectly.
- The bluetooth feature that allows you to take calls from your phone is an absolute joke. The volume is barely audible and with the sound turned all the way up. I
- I purchased the Garmin nuvi 2595LMT and was very disappointed. This Garmin was supposed to be a refurbished gps but I think when they erased the original information on the GPS they did not reset the gps therefore, it was unable to receive my location and allow me to enter my location or any address
