- Connects well to blue tooth and works on my Mazda Demio DY3W and other Mazda's i've tried, but no luck with Toyota from Japan. Not sure if its a protocol issues as it is OBDii, but it hasn't worked on 3 different toyota's i've connected it to.
- Very handy little item, has to be used with app readily available on Android, not sure about rubbishy iPhones, easy to use, clears warning lights, diagnoses issues giving fault codes etc.
- I found the item quite good at diagnosing my cars problem an after a while I was able to understand what it was doing.
- Helped diagnose an issue with a friends Nissan Micra reading the fault codes, using the devices link to online code database and then was able to clear fault codes. Issue with car has never re-appeared. Highly recommended.
- Even though the tool did successfully scan the fault code, it lacks the necessary protocol to clear the codes in a Nissan Qashqai J11 2015. No matter what app you use, the codes won't be cleared.
- Supports Enhanced codes for my Chevy cars and can see way more info that cheap scanner.
- Provides information about your system, scans modules and CEL, and shows pending codes.
- Reads out ALL or most vehicle systems, not just engine/ emissions, on domestic vehicles.
- Does not seat well in some OBD2 data ports, at least not Volkswagon or Audi ports. Fords and Hondas seem to fit fine. Your mileage may vary.
- Works great but only supports the blue driver app and not other apps using different Bluetooth protocols
- Fantastic product, I mean who needs to go to an auto shop for mechanical service when you have this, google chrome and tools at home, heck I used this Torque Pro to fix my sibling's car, as long as you get the "trouble code" the problem is easy to research and fix.
- I'm really glad I bought this as 2 days after buying it my engine management and ABS light came on, With this I managed to diagnose that my rear right hand side half shaft with the speed sensing ring had deteriorated.
- For the price it's a great gadget and can help diagnose faults, if you know how to use the info.
- Very useful tool! I used this to diagnose the Check Engine Light on my Volvo V50. Pairs with bluetooth to my android phone and works with the Torque application.
- Works fine, used it to diagnose a check engine light. The recommended app isn't the best though.
- When your car throws a code every time the top recommend fix has been the issue i actually have! makes diagnosing so much easier!
- Has built-in scanner for newer cars that have QR code VINs - have to manual input the VIN -- doing so gives you TSBs & recalls for car - no other under $200 scan tool does this for this price -- saves a lot of time!
- While testing the unit out, I easily scanned my VIN into my smartphone app. I also installed on my Fire HD 10 inch pad. Connecting to bluetooth was easy.
- They hide certain information or dont have the licensing for GM to show certain things that my $15 bluetooth scanner and TorquePro can show.
- Does not display all the options that your vehicle may have available.
- There are several apps to download if you don't like the official software, realtime readings straight to your phone is a big help too, if you have a bluetooth headunit you can just leave it plugged in and monitor everything on the go.
- Good unit, connects to the OBD II socket in your car and links to your smartphone via Bluetooth and seems to work with the many free Apps available fro mthe Android Play Store.
- Does what it says on the tin and with the Torque Pro App it diagnosed fault codes and cleared the basic ones even on my specialist car.
- I use this with Torque app and gives me all the reading i need and has helped me save money diagnosing problems on my car and repairing them myself.
- Bought this to go with the Torque Pro app. It reads the dynamic sensors ok but does not display any DTC codes - yet I have a Restricted Performance warning.
- Unfortunately either the one i got was faulty or was not compatible with my car ( BMW E46 M3 ) as the torque app indicated the dongle wasnt able to talk to the ECU.
- Awesome App! looks really clean and easy to get a round.
- They have the ability to add features and are constantly improving!
- The ability to mount your phone on the dash while you are driving and testing works well.
- LED on unit offers feedback with flashing blue or constant red light so you know it's alive, and what status it's reporting
- Not 100% impressed with the Android interface. Back buttons and intuitive menus are lacking, or not where I expect them to be, or not laid out in a conventional manner.
- -Lag time while observing "real-time" data also leaves room for improvement. If that's important to you, be forewarned.
