- This scanner moves quickly through its functions, for a cheaper diag tool. The less expensive code readers are slow moving and less responsive
- Very simple to use, very pleased indeed. I have been wanting to buy a OBD scanner for a long time but the only ones that were affordable were complicated, junk, or complicated junk but the Innova 3100i is easy to use, durable and priced fairly if you shop around.
- Good scanner. have had over a year now. but if i could turn back time i would have gotten one with live data
- The scanner paid itself off after my first use. I had an ABS light on and places like Autozone and O'Relleys can't read ABS code at all.
- Exactly what i ordered, works great, best scanner ive purchased.
- Great scanner pays for its self, let's me get repairs done faster..only complaint is the display sticker they put the screen didn't come off easy, rips off in pieces and leaves behind residue,if not careful you will scratch the screen.
- If you are looking for a basic OBD2 scanner this should do well for you and it's price is reasonable compared to others on the market.
- This check engine light reader is one of the nicest home mechanic readers I have ever used. I used to be a service manager at a Ford dealership and miss the ability to use the actual computers that the mechanics use, but am very satisfied with this replacement.
- Great scanner for a DIY'er!!! Item arrived quickly and worked as described! My only suggestion is to make sure you go to Innova's website to check device compatibility with your vehicle(s) before purchasing.
- This is my first code scanner. It reads OBDII, including CAN format. I've only used it once to date, but it told me everything I needed to know and more.
- Some of the best features of this diagnostic tool: Reads Powertrain codes- engine and transmission; Reads Chassis codes- ABS and traction codes; Stores Freeze Frame data (what was happening when the code was set); and many other functions.
- This spells out the problem in complete sentences and you do not have to be a scientist to use. Essentially plug and play.
- Diagnostics took me straight to the problem in less than 10 minutes and reset the codes I caused troubleshooting with a meter. Received repair recommendations.
- I liked Actron CP9670 AUTOSCANNER far better than this it has live data where you can see the engine characteristics and also run a live diagnostics with a graph but Actron doesn't support ABS for my dodge grand caravan
- Difficult at first to use then aftern plugging it into my volvo the tool explained well what to do next which made it easy to use and read the diagnostics.
- This check engine light reader is one of the nicest home mechanic readers I have ever used. I used to be a service manager at a Ford dealership and miss the ability to use the actual computers that the mechanics use, but am very satisfied with this replacement.
- When I followed the web link through the software for more information, it asked for VIN and License numbers and had some 15+ diagnostic questions.
- I bought this On Board Diagnostic meter right after purchasing my first car, and it is completely worth the money. This meter is really easy to use, and I have put it to some heavy use.
- I am very satisfied with this diagnostics tool. I originally bought it for my 97 import car and I am very pleased with it.
- Again, this is a very good diagnostic code reader with basic ABS/SRS support. It's just the PC support software that's awful.
- The screen is very bright, and easy to read.
- Purchased for my ford 6.4 powerstoke diesel. Scanner worked great far better features than expected. Read all my codes with ease of use. Display menu is easy to follow.
- owever it's a handy feature, and does more than enough for the average DIYer. Most non professional techs wouldn't know what to do with the data presented anyway. And for professional techs, you probably have access to a $5000 scan tool that will tell you what you need to know.
- Just as I was about to finalize my purchase I came across the 3100i and really liked the fact that it has a color display so I called Innova and they told me this is a newer model with better ABS support and color screen.
- But this Code Reader at times hangs up or Freezes, it seems & when I try to go back to Main Menu it just begins a search again, in the area that it was. Not much instructions came with unit either :(
- This was is my first code reader and after checking locally as well as the different features of a host of CR's I decided on Innova's.
- I've not yet dug into the data freeze or PC-enabled features since I'm on a Mac - I'm not sure whether the software will work (haven't investigated this).
- The memory feature is easily the most stand out feature over the cheap units I'e used before.
- Far more features that the more common orange-colored brand for the price. Highly recommended.
- I recommend this product to who ever is looking for an affordable code reader/scanner with great features.
