- It keeps the boat in place, even in the wind. Not only does he love it, I do too! I no longer worry about him leaning over the front of the boat putting the trolling motor in the water and taking it out!
- The 24 volt 80 lb thrust motor will pull the boat around with no problem. Fishing in and around reeds is no problem.
- Trolling motor was a great upgrade. There will definitely be a learning curve in utilizing this machine to its full potential. I am very pleased with this so far.
- The Ulterra 80 trolling motor is great. It performs as advertised and is very easy to operate.
- I upgraded from a Terrova which is good but the auto deploy and stow and the improved spot lock of the Ulterra makes this even better.

- Install was simple. Everything was included in the box with no damage. It works great and the gps is extremely accurate.

- Very good motor, works as advertised, using on a 24’ Lowe pontoon and will also use on a 16’ Lowe River Jon with the quick release bracket.

- Been waiting years for minnkota, for this motor, is heavy compared to my maxxum pro, lift with ease I had I pilot trolling motor with remote I loved but never made one bass boats till now foot pedal sensitive it fit perfect on my comfort troll tray , simply game changer
- The new spot lock feature with the digital compass holds the boat very accurately in the chosen position, and the jog feature is really nice.
- The controller failed (after three uses?)--I called Minn Kota and said I obviously have the lemon--how about replacing the motor--no way they said--read the warranty--it is on parts--not the unit.

- The remote is easy to use. I don't use the foot control at all just the remote.
- It comes with a remote control so after you dock your boat in water it will stay in place with spot lock. You can go park your truck and trailer come back and boat will come to you with this amazing remote Control ULTERRA TROLLING motor.
- With the remote the motor works good, as of yet we haven't figured out how to make it work with the foot pedal.
- I got the I-pilot I link system and think this is a great system. It operates from I-phone, - I -link, and from the Humminbird Solix sounder.
- I love the motor so far but the features other than the auto deploy really don't work that well to pay the extra money for. At least using them for six times.
