- The prop was to be the new style with the weed cutter edges but insted it was a prop that was smaller than the one on my 35lb.
- It has plenty of thrust to push the boat around, and extremely easy to take in and out of the water. I would recommend it.
- The trolling motor stopped working on speeds 1 and 2 3,4,5 seem to be working very slow and this is after one summer.
- The x3 55 is far superior to the old 54 pound thrust motor guide that I swapped out, very little torque on high speed making it a breeze to steer with the foot control, ordered one day in two days it was at my door. Less expensive than any where else , free shipping and no TAX!!!!!!
- The X3 Digital is quiet, responsive, and doesn't seem to drain the battery like my old one.
- I highly recommend this motor for smaller bass boats that operate on a 12v system, and very highly recommend TM.net as the place to buy.
- This motor is great been using it for about three months, no problems at all .
- I am using the 24 volt, 55 pound thrust on an aluminum 18' flatbottom outboard jet. So far this trolling motor is strong and efficient with battery usage.
- Quick mount to the bow and I was ready to go. Works great!
- Mounted on the bow of my 18' x 8' Starcraft Jon Boat. The flexible shaft is great.
- Easy to install and works great
- The unit opens and retracts smoothly back into it's cradle base. The base is very strong and is essentially bullet-proof.
- We've had the trolling motor out on the water 4 times now and it's performed flawlessly with no issues at all. That's a total of over 20 hours of fishing. I highly recommend this unit for anyone wanting a reliable and smooth operating unit.
- A lot of great features and easy to install and operate.
- Mounting hardware absolutely sucks. They send 1/4"x2" bolts that you cannot get a socket on. It's impossible.
- The mechanical foot control is much larger and more difficult to use than the previous electronic foot control.
- The rotary speed control is hard to make small adjustments in speed.
- Power cable was too short for my setup as I have the battery stored under the deck.
- It is a simple motor and doesn't have any fancy features but for the price that's as expected.
- Foot pedal is to fast. People are right. There is no slow.
- This motor replaced a 21 year old 30lb MotorGuide. Very easy to operate and highly recommend the digital model for the variable speed. Very solid and well built motor.
- Foot control operated the unit very well with excellent control. I really liked the "pull-pull" design of the foot control cable system, smooth and easy.
- The speed control rotating knob on the foot control is smooth and precise.
- The digital power technology prolongs battery life, giving me more hours on the water. The infinite motor speeds make boat control easy.
