- The prop was to be the new style with the weed cutter edges but insted it was a prop that was smaller than the one on my 35lb.
- It has plenty of thrust to push the boat around, and extremely easy to take in and out of the water. I would recommend it.
- The trolling motor stopped working on speeds 1 and 2 3,4,5 seem to be working very slow and this is after one summer.
- It also has the power to stop the boat instantly when you turn it 180 degrees!!! I love it!!!! btw, I changed from 12v to 24v when I made the switch, so I needed to get a second Blue Top Ultimà (that was another great purchase!).
- Bingo... put on a 17ft deep V, no problems at all getting around in water, plenty of power. I would for sure buy it again
- Should be good we were fishing a tournament with an old old old maximum it just stoped turning and we had to leave the tournament and we found out that something was grinding on shaft new trolling motor should work great more power
- Nice motor plenty of power to drag my 18.5 fiberglass boat around
- This is one tough and easy to use motor. Lots of power. Well worth the money.
- Quick mount to the bow and I was ready to go. Works great!
- Mounted on the bow of my 18' x 8' Starcraft Jon Boat. The flexible shaft is great.
- It would have been 5 stars but the shaft is located on the motor where it is prop heavy when bringing it up to stow.
- The 42 inch model was the correct fit for my Ranger bass boat. This was a replacement for an older MinnKota Maxxum that had seen better days.
- Husband ordered this motor and is very unhappy that the isolator mounts no longer come with their motors.
- There is no way to mount it on my boat without the prop hitting the side of the boat.
- Bad quality product it only has a dial from 1 thru 5 and 1-3 doesn't even move an average boat. I
- The mechanical foot control is much larger and more difficult to use than the previous electronic foot control.
- The rotary speed control is hard to make small adjustments in speed.
- Power cable was too short for my setup as I have the battery stored under the deck.
- It is a simple motor and doesn't have any fancy features but for the price that's as expected.
- The model I received was the variable speed with Maximizer feature as advertised. Great packaging, fast delivery, great price and works like a charm.
- This is my second time trying to buy the Maxxum 70 model with the Digital Maximizer. Important feature.
- The COM mode has given me a new way to spend more time fishing and less time trying to control the speed and direction of the boat.
- I still like it and I just have to turn the motor by the foot control when bringing it up.
- The picture indicates a variable speed hand control Minn Kota Module (speed control 1-10) - when shipment came in - it is actually a 5 speed forward - 3 speed reverse hand control. Very disappointed.
