- Although most of Calphalon products are made in the U.S.A., their Stainless Steel pots and pans are made overseas (China??) But these are not made of some cheep SS as some other less expensive cookware are. These are solid, well built and designed to last!
- These pans have help up remarkably well. I've been very happy cooking with them and I haven't had any problems keeping them clean.
- Really nice cookware. Has just the right amount of "heft" to them. I cook with them every chance I get. Still trying to get my wife to make the switch from anodized aluminum to stainless steel.
- Calphalon is always good. As my old pots and pans wear out I'm replacing them with Calphalon stainless steel. Easy to clean and food doesn't stick as badly as you'd think.
- It took me two years to update my cooking vessels. I only have cast iron (not the porcelain enameled type) and induction ready stainless steel in my kitchen.
- Made the switch to stainless steel and so far these pans have been great! No problems, great price, can't beat that!
- A nice variety of pots and pans. I've scorched them a few times but they're easily polished up with steel wool.
- Really lightweight for my arthritic hands to handle, and for hanging from a pot rack on the wall. Things heat and cook faster in these.
- Great quality, just need to get accustomed to using stainless steel.
- If you know how to properly use stainless steel cookware nothing sticks to them either. I would definitely recommend to anyone. They will be a set of pots and pans to last for years and years. The quality is wonderful.
- The handles are "stay cool" so no need for pot holders. Very well built/constructed.
- Love the handles, compared to All Clad handles (which I do own), as well as the glass tops. No need to deal with a hot top just to see how the food is doing.
- I love these skillets. They heat up evenly, retain their heat extremely well and clean easily. I only hand wash my pots and pans and reserve the dishwasher for dishes.
- Glass lids mean easy viewing without opening pots
- Another nice feature that is pretty standard on quality pans is that the handle stays cool even when the pan is hot.
- Handles stay fairly cool. Lids are nice, though the handles get HOT. We both like the strainer feature, though it's not for everyone. The biggest downside is that they don't stack well.
- I love the straining feature. If you follow the directions that are quite simple you will have no problem!!
- The built in pouring spout/slotted lid on the pots look like a nice feature, until you try to use the pot to steam anything and watch all your steam escape.
- I love the lids and the spout. It makes it so easy to drain water.
- One disappointing feature is the discoloration of the inside of the pot after first use and only while boiling water.
