- I can now see that stainless steel really does cook food better than non stick.
- It was scary going from non stick to stainless steel, most of the information out there will say stainless is better, will last longer, and cook better.
- The trick is to let the skillets or sauté pan heat up completely, then add butter, swirl it around, then add whatever you're cooking. The food should not stick. Mine didn't.
- These feel like they'll last a long time, and from other reviewers it looks like they do. Take care of your pots and pans and you shouldn't have a problem.
- Set includes a lid that will fit each pan (not all at the same time, though)
- We really love this cookware. The only thing I can say negative about it is it is not dishwasher safe which is disappointing. It distributes heat evenly with no sticky mess afterwards.
- Even though I followed the cleanser's directions explicitly I was unable to remove any of the food stains from either the anodized aluminum or stainless steel surfaces.
- The sizes are great if you're cooking for one or two people, maybe three, above that, your pans will be crowded or you'll have to cook in batches.
- Hard-anodized steel is way better than normal telflon nonstick, and this cookware is incredibly well-made. They should last you years if you properly take care of them.
- Anodized Aluminum doesn't like your silverware nor does the non-stick. Many things you have to remember not to do. No Metal Objects, Handwash only, No Stacking, No Green Scrub Pads, No Cooking Spray, - That is if you want them to last a while.
- The tapered rim really does make pouring MUCH easier and practically drip free (I always have a paper towel handy regardless)
- A favorite feature is the metal lids, did not want glass lids, not comfortable with the potential of breakage.
- The handles are sturdy and made of the same stainless steel. They can be put in the over up to 500 degrees.
- These lids are one piece stampings with handles riveted on, with no place for food to get left after washing.
- Parts of the cookware is a high mirror polish (more on why I put this as a con later)
- It is a heavy gauge steel with heavy-gauge handles and quality glass lids period it cleans up like new.
- Nice cookware set. Easy to clean interiors and lids.
- Super easy to clean, nothing sticks to it.
- This reasonably-priced set from Calphalon has enough quality and features for the average home chef. The aluminum construction is thick, the handles are riveted, and the lid handles are securely fastened.
- Checked the other pieces and found ware in them too. And as I said before I do not use them much, no more then one or two times a week. And I wash them my hand, no dishwasher. Very disappointed.
