- The speed and helpful information is very good i will tell someone else about the WiFi speed it has thank you.
- Purchased to replace old Surfrider that bit the dust. Extremely easy to set up and configure. See improved download and upload speeds..
- I use comcast, and this can take advantage of the higher speed plans they offer.
- Great speed and it was very simple to set up and connect multiple devices in my house including my smart TV with no buffering
- Easy hookup and compatible with Xfinity. Pays for itself in less than a year!
- We were having issues with the internet being slow and disconnecting. It hasn't disconnected as much now
- This is one of the few units that TWC supports on 300mbps. Don't be fooled by the other versions saying they will do up to 300mbps, they don't have enough downstream channels and aren't supported at those speeds.
- Definitely faster. I was getting between 30-50mbps downstream and 2-5mbps upstream with the SB6120. With the SB6183, I'm pulling 80mbps downstream and 4-5mbps upstream. Huge improvement.
- I get 300-350 down line of sight or in the next room over on my MacBook Air on the 5ghz AC band of my router.
- Does what it says. Supports TWC and we have 200mbps, and this seems to support all 200+ (it's rated for 300)
- Does get hot though, so plan on leaving it on a desk and not touching you (or anything heat sensitive for that matter)
- The speed is still decent though we're running the modem through an adapter to a USB port.
- Works great, very small and compact, has a great connection.
- Great connection and speed. Works well with Google WIFI.
- Gtreat product to allow connecting cable for multiple uses including streaming.
- Modem has stable connection, reliable work, neutral design.
- Works great with Comcast and its great to save money over the long term vs monthly fee. One big drawback is limited ethernet port
- Easy to hook up to my router. Would have preferred that it had a telephone port in addition to an Ethernet port.
- Bought this modem to replace one that was fried due to a power surge. Love the fact that it has a gigabit port.
- The only downside is not dual ether ports, but otherwise, it’s top of the line modem.
- The only downside was it needs more output ports.
- Works well but could use one with more ports to hardwire more applications
- Great for using on your Internet network. Has the required channels for gaming and surfing the Internet.
- The secret is this modem locks to 16 channels download compared to 8 channels with the Arris. Very steady performance.
- It had all the features of a higher-priced modem for about the same price as a lesser modem.
- I am very pleased with the ease of setup, features and performance. I have a Linksys router with a Ooma Telo attached and everything works great (no compatibility issues).
- Solid Device, no issues at all. really convenient power button to reset the device
- This modem doesn't have enough down channels to receive most ISP signals beyond 25 mbps.
- This is one great cable modem. Having the 16 downstream bonded channels has really sped up my connection with my ISP. Thoroughly happy with this purchase.
- Modem is capable of 16 downstream channels, so I purchased it in anticipation of service being upgraded in future from currently available 8 channels for download.
- On average we have at least 18 devices connected, and sometimes 25!
- Short and sits upright, or upside down. It's a nice little flat rectangle so it's easier to mount/place anywhere. Even on the front.
- It's bright white with very bright front LED display indicators.
- Takes a while to boot up. Like on the order of 15-20 seconds.
- Gets a bit hot during normal use. Needs better thermal design, in a consumer device this shouldn't be an issue
