What customers say about "Key Specs"
Tecsun PL-600 AM/FM/LW SSB Shortwave Radio, Black
- The built in ferrite antenna works and works well. The entire radio can be positioned to null out offending interference or unwanted stations just like in the days of old.
- Wonderful reception on AM, FM, and shortwave bands.
- There's an auto-preset fill feature, which scans AM and FM broadcast bands, and puts them in a separate memory page.
- It has far more features and functions than I'll ever use. Reception of fairly weak AM and FM signals is excellent.
- Ergonomics are not the best. The front buttons are flat and flush with the cabinet surface, hard to feel with the fingertips.
Tecsun PL-660 Portable AM/FM/LW/Air Shortwave World Band Radio with Single Side Band, Black
- Excellent sensitivity. It did well with the built-in telescoping whip antenna.
- Thousands of presets, probably more than you'll ever need.
- It has plenty of volume for SWLing. The controls are very high quality and feel professional.
- Tuning is smooth as silk. FM reception is also remarkable.
- Awesome SW radio! A ton of features & ability to hear so many different things from around the world.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Tecsun PL-600 AM/FM/LW SSB Shortwave Radio, Black
- The radio has good size, not too small but portable.
- Small size and rechargeable batteries make this radio convenient to use anywhere.
- The size is small enough for bedside and travel unlike the 2100 but larger than the 1102.
- It's in a handy size and plays easily. I like its compact size.
- Due to its size and weight, I consider it best for table top use. I found it too heavy to hold for extended periods of time.
Tecsun PL-660 Portable AM/FM/LW/Air Shortwave World Band Radio with Single Side Band, Black
- I was looking for something portable for traveling and just sitting on the patio. This unit fit the bill nicely.
- I was looking for a small and compact portable SWL receiver, primarily for listening to SSB on the Ham bands.
- Great price on this radio and it works very well. Actually, I am somewhat shocked that such a small portable can perform so well.
- For a small speaker it has decent sound. I recommend this radio for anyone who wants to get into the hobby.
- The sound of the radio is very adequate for such a small portable, but when I plug in some standard computer audio speakers it sounds fantastic.

What customers say about "Features"
Tecsun PL-600 AM/FM/LW SSB Shortwave Radio, Black
- Everything about this radio is super - construction, look and feel, size, display, knobs, AC adapter.
- Sensitive, well laid out, and sound is pretty good for the size.
- The FM sounds great, especially in stereo through the stereo headphone jack. AM reception is fantastic.
- Black plastic front panel has a number of grooves collecting dust and dirt, hard to clean. White lettering has low contrast and very small size - hard to read in lower ambient light.
- The sound is awfully distorted on AM and SW bands. It has the "tin" and off sync sound.
Tecsun PL-660 Portable AM/FM/LW/Air Shortwave World Band Radio with Single Side Band, Black
- The Radio is very well designed. It is tactile and smooth tuning making it easy to tune and listen to.
- The internal speaker sounds fine but I plug mine in to an external speaker for more pleasing audio quality.
- Good speaker, comes with an extension wire outside antenna, & the ability to run off AC or AA battery power.
- The case is definitely strong. Telescoping antenna is rugged and extends high.
- The display is large and bright and contains a lot of useful information.

What customers say about "Power"
Tecsun PL-600 AM/FM/LW SSB Shortwave Radio, Black
- Solid radio with good battery life and great sound quality for the size.
- It's not all plastic through and through. The rechargeable batteries work like a charm.
- Internal battery will last about 12 hours of continuous use and sound quality is pretty good.
- The batteries it came with leaked after about a month.
- The supplied NiMH batteries are low capacity ones.
Tecsun PL-660 Portable AM/FM/LW/Air Shortwave World Band Radio with Single Side Band, Black
- The radio has outstanding battery life. I use rechargeable AA batteries and when plugged in, the radio charges the batteries so you won't have to mess with that.
- It comes with 4 AA rechargeable batteries, an AC adapter, earbuds, 20' shortwave antenna and a carrying case. Really, a great little setup right out of the box.
- Comes with both a longwire antenna, earbuds, and rechargeable batteries with charger.
- Been using it for about a month now and still haven't recharged the batteries.
- This unit is a battery hog on alkaline batteries, a week maybe even when not used, and will not recharge rechargable batteries.
