- The straight forward nature of this radio is fantastic.
- AM Reception is very good. SW Reception is very good, when you add an external wire.
- Easy tuning of radio. Alert mode which can be used when the radio is on is great.
- AM/FM have exceptionally good receptions. NOAA weather channels are clear and loud.
- Good reception and sound will might invest in the extra antenna that is compact and longer.
- FM and WB reception is the best. Build Quality is great.
- Tuning is easy, you can tune with the knob, seek with the buttons, direct entry the station, and navigate presets with the M- and M+ Keys.
- The FM reception is better than my home stereo, the sound quality is crisp and clear.
- The AM band is ok, but many of the stations exhibit a high pitched tone. Especially distant stations at night.

- Built in Recorder is smooth, no artifacts like cheaper recorders. Records in Stereo!
- You can load up your SD card with tons of podcasts, music and old time radio shows. I'm really happy with this radio overall.
- The recording feature is extremely limited. I would not buy again. I would not recommend.

- The one I received was defective. The battery wouldn’t hold any charge at all.

- Good radio reception, micro sd card works fine, many ways to charge battery, including solar panel, charges a mobile phone very well.
- Easy to select radio and weather stations and sound is good for a small radio. Rechargeable battery lasts for hours and would purchase again if I needed another one.
- There is no power adapter with it, I have to use iphone adapter to charge it.
