Autel TS401 with MX Sensor Programming Function
- Autel TS401 TPMS tool arrived with software version 3.2, and worked on all my cars right out of the package, even our 2017 Malibu which could not be triggered by other TP tools because it uses 433MHz frequency.
- Works on everything I have tried it on. Will do both the "ping", that the self-learning type TPMS need, and the sensor ID# read-out, that you need on the OBD2 entry-only type TPMS.
- I got this tool to assist in changing from summer to winter tires and the reverse. It worked doing that with the ATEQ Quickset TPMS tool. But this device has so much more. It take the tire pressure as well.
- This is a nice tool. I can also use it as a digital tire pressure gauge for my Toyota Prius. this gives a more dependable reading than the "Dill" type Gauges (those are the ones with the square plastic slider that shoots out to indicate the pressure.).
- Works on 2007 Honda Odyssey and 2009 Pontiac G8. Does NOT work on my 2013 Accord in spite of installing the latest updates from their website as of April 2014. Stay away they don't appear to be supporting newer models.
- It does what it say's it does, you can find out which tire has the bad tpms sensor, but then you still have to take it somewhere to reset it.
Autel TS501 System Diagnostic Tool TPMS Sensor Check Kit ECU
- I bought it because I bought 4 new rims/tires/TPMS sensors. I wanted to scan the 4 new TPMS Sensor codes in my new summer rims/tires and upload them to my car's ECU (aka relearn procedure) through the ODB II and I did the whole procedure in less then 5mins.
- I bought the TS501 to read and reset the sensor IDs in my Subaru Outback after a seasonal tire change. It took about 10 minutes to unpack it, read the sensor IDs in the tires, and reprogram the TPMS.
- This thing, for the price, is by far the best tool in my toolbox, even better, dare I say, than my 10mm’s!! Ive used it so far on my wife’s 4Runner, mother in laws Rav4, and my own wrx to clone sensors for my rims.
- This tool is great but after triggering the TPM sensors, you don’t have the copy to car ECU. What you have is copy from car ECU. To me, it is not serving it’s purpose.
- I purchased this item so that every year when I change from my stock winter times to my aftermarket rims and tires I don't have to go to a car place for my tpms reset. It works, but it doesn't always recognize my sensors.

What customers say about "Diagnostic"
Autel TS401 with MX Sensor Programming Function
- Great quick-check tool, to see if the dead sensor is actually in the position that the TPMS ECU "thinks" that it is. Does not do any OBD2 interfacing. This is for guys that already have a fully capable scan tool, but need a tire tool to read and ping sensors
- With this tool I can reprogram them in under 30 seconds. Used manly on gmc, chevy abd ford vans.
- I love this as the number you see is the number the car uses as well. So it makes filling up/topping up tires so easy. Also this allows me to see the differences when tires are cold vs hot vs one drive. This allows me to better set the pressure to maximise the pressure.
- This unit does exactly what it states it does. Great for pin pointing exactly what sensor is bad. Programming of new sensors is easy. Takes about 2 minutes a vehicle at the most.
- The only draw back is it is not able to program codes to the sensors. The dodge dart is suppose to "automatically" learn the new sensors while driving, but for whatever reason my car won't let go of the old sensor codes.
Autel TS501 System Diagnostic Tool TPMS Sensor Check Kit ECU
- Great tool for updating the TPMS information on your vehicle. Easy to use and does what it is supposed to do. My car (2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek) was not specifically listed. I used the menu for the 2016 and all went very smoothly.
- Great product! Updates are very frequent and free! So far I've used it to program Toyota sensors and Subaru sensors and have had zero issues. Its a great companion for my maxisys 908.
- This is a great product it works on a lot of domestic and import cars it does the job for about 1/2 of the price of other units it's easy to use can be used for diag also so u don't have to buy 1k scanner this is the 2nd one I own the first one was a lower model so this one is alot better.
- Excellent tool! It works flawlessly and allowed me to quickly narrow down the source of TPMS issues with my 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD.
- Able to scan all sensors even an aftermarket then wright on ecu and turn light off.
- I am very dissatisfied with this product! First documentation is terrible, the manual doesn't reflect the real product, plus it doesn't describe all the features.
- When I was trying to write the codes to the car, the feature was not supported for my car.

What customers say about "Features"
Autel TS401 with MX Sensor Programming Function
- The TS401 works perfect after I updated it and now I can even do 2017 vehicles. It took me less than 3 minutes to relearn my tires position on my 2015 Buick Verano.
- Ordered for a 2013 Chevy. Out of the box it took less than 5 minutes to reprogram my car to the new TPMS that I had installed the week before. A bonus is that I can test my key fob freq. as well. There are additional features that I may or may not use.
- I got this to read my TPMS sensors which it did and I used it to program some Autel programable sensors for my winter tires. The programming was included with a firmware update to the unit. Now my car does not know that there are different tires on the car when I install the winter tires.
- “Reads / writes sensor ID from vehicle ECU, Reads / clears codes of TPMS system and reset malfunction indicator light” This is wrong! The TS401 does not read from ECU! Some people might give it 5 stars without noticing this issue.
- I did an update on the tool as specified by the manufacture. After selecting my vehicle (2010 Suzuki Kizashi) the device froze and makes an annoying beep. I had to just let the battery drain before I could return it. (TPMS android app please).
Autel TS501 System Diagnostic Tool TPMS Sensor Check Kit ECU
- Very handy tool! Easy to work, quick to respond, and very functional.
- I was able to clear the TPMS error codes my 2014 Chrysler Town & Country very easily. And since it was manufactured is the last few months, it already had the most recent software updates.
- Very useful and handy tool to take care of your car tires, especially for frequent tire rotations. Easy to use and update online.
- The only negatives are that the manual and software are not written by someone who's primary language is English. Once you get past that, all is well.
