What customers say about "Key Specs"
Zoom 5370 Cable Modem DOCSIS 3.0
- This is a fantastic modem. All 16 downstream channels are bonded and rock solid. No errors, correctable or otherwise, since the modem was provisioned on Comcast.
- Delivers full speed of the connection (117mbps) and works flawlessly. I had a DSL Zoom modem in the past that lasted 7 years and so was thrilled there was a Zoom cable modem certified by Spectrum.
- This is just a basic modem that works. By basic, I mean no frills just solid high speed upload and downloads with no need to ever reboot.
- I upgraded my internet service, so I needed a modem that will accommodate the higher speed, and HOLY CRAP! This thing is QUICK! I'm getting about 100 Mbps down speed, and about 12 up.
- The product is OK when it works. But it constantly reboots itself. Often it reboots every 10 or 15 minutes. This disrupts my work. I lost VPN connections and web meeting sessions when this happened.
- Upgraded to spectrum 400mbs internet, couldn't go through because this modem which advertises at 600+mbs capability per spectrum can only handle 300mbs

- This is one of the few units that TWC supports on 300mbps. Don't be fooled by the other versions saying they will do up to 300mbps, they don't have enough downstream channels and aren't supported at those speeds.
- Definitely faster. I was getting between 30-50mbps downstream and 2-5mbps upstream with the SB6120. With the SB6183, I'm pulling 80mbps downstream and 4-5mbps upstream. Huge improvement.
- I get 300-350 down line of sight or in the next room over on my MacBook Air on the 5ghz AC band of my router.
- Does what it says. Supports TWC and we have 200mbps, and this seems to support all 200+ (it's rated for 300)
- Does get hot though, so plan on leaving it on a desk and not touching you (or anything heat sensitive for that matter)

What customers say about "Ports"
Zoom 5370 Cable Modem DOCSIS 3.0
- This model does not include a built in wireless router so if you need wifi or multiple Ethernet ports you will need an additional device as this one only has one Ethernet port.
- Very good and fast modem. Very basic with no WIFI.
- Has only one port for private network and no wireless, so need your own hub or wireless device for multiple wired / wireless connections. Otherwise is working just fine.
- Just remember no wifi

- Easy to hook up to my router. Would have preferred that it had a telephone port in addition to an Ethernet port.
- Bought this modem to replace one that was fried due to a power surge. Love the fact that it has a gigabit port.
- The only downside is not dual ether ports, but otherwise, it’s top of the line modem.
- The only downside was it needs more output ports.
- Works well but could use one with more ports to hardwire more applications

What customers say about "Features"
Zoom 5370 Cable Modem DOCSIS 3.0
- Got this for Spectrum's 100mbps cable service and it's fantastic. No config necessary, just registering the MAC with ISP.
- Note that when connected to a router the LAN LED lights up. GREEN means it's made a 1Gb connection. This will be to a router with 10/100/1000 LAN ports, otherwise known as a gigabit router.
- In addition, the LEDs brightness are very well controlled. There is a On/Off button which is very convenient if you need to power cycle the modem.
- This is a nice simple modem. It has 16 channels down and 4 up, all of which bonded with no issues at all. The interface has only 4 options: Connection, Software, Security and Log. other than changing the password there really isn't anything configurable but I think that is fine
- Comcast/Xfinity only bonds 3 of the 4 upload channels; so if you log-in and see only 3 bonded, that's not a line quality problem. All 16 download channels are bonded.
- This modem has a certificate mismatch when trying to connect to the TWC/Spectrum which causes it to reboot every 5 minutes often multiple times in a row. This problem is well documented and there is not a fix.
ARRIS SB6183 Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem- Retail Packaging- White
- This is one great cable modem. Having the 16 downstream bonded channels has really sped up my connection with my ISP. Thoroughly happy with this purchase.
- Modem is capable of 16 downstream channels, so I purchased it in anticipation of service being upgraded in future from currently available 8 channels for download.
- On average we have at least 18 devices connected, and sometimes 25!
- Short and sits upright, or upside down. It's a nice little flat rectangle so it's easier to mount/place anywhere. Even on the front.
- It's bright white with very bright front LED display indicators.
- Takes a while to boot up. Like on the order of 15-20 seconds.
- Gets a bit hot during normal use. Needs better thermal design, in a consumer device this shouldn't be an issue
