- I like USB 3 for faster PC transfer.
- Transferring data is great, everything works perfectly!
- No complaints. Compact, seemingly robust little bugger. Transfers are extremely fast. I take it everywhere with me.
- Much faster than my Flash stick which is USB 3.0 as well and just as fast on Windows Machine.
- It used to disconnect and reconnect sometimes, now it does it frequently enough to make one afraid to data transfer.
- Very good looking drive, strong, capacious and well built. It's as tall as an iPhone 5S, but about 50% wider.
- So far I have had no real issues with this unit. Full of space and high speed.
- Massive Amount of Storage Space. Highly recommend.
- One of the biggest strengths of this reasonably small portable hard drive is that it has a gargantuan amount of space.
- It's a very nice looking item and serves its basic purpose as an external hard drive. It transfers files quickly and has plenty of space.
- Transfer time from the SD card reader to the HDD is fast enough for my purposes. It took around 20 minutes to transfer 15G of video files, which is fine for me.
- After all it's it a pretty fast 3.0 HDD when u use it with the cable.
- The backup speed is good and data copying has always been reliable.
- SD card backup is convenient for long trips instead of carrying multiple cards.
- Wi-Fi performance is too slow. SD speed is also slow. The smartphone app is hard to use.
- Loading files is drag and drop simple. This is great for time saving.
- In remote environments you can connect your tablet, phone or computer to the device directly.
- You can connect the device to an existing wifi connection and have access to all of your files in the device while maintaining internet connectivity.
- The idea of a drive I could use while being crammed on a plane wirelessly was ideal.
- The official Seagate Media App is awful. It's a nightmare to use if you have a large media collection.
- It is hard to review the existing backups on the mobile app, load times are a pain.
- Has a battery that will last for several hours, so can do backups on the go
