- My room is in the attic, the router is downstairs, and it has boosted my PS4 speed from 8gb to 30gb!!! It even has a very handy app!
- I performed a few internet speed tests with SpeedCheck Pro and wow... my internet speed had increased from about 3-5Mbps to 20-30Mbps.
- I can wholeheartedly recommend this device and although nowhere do they advertise that it increases internet speed, in my case it certainly has.
- Vastly better than devices using our house's (modern) wiring, both in terms of ease of setup and signal strength/ speed.
- Using an online speed test I measured an increase from 26mbps to 97mbps so has proven to be very effective.
- Worked good and extended the range and speed on my WiFi.
- The speed improvement in the back of the house is quite noticeable.
- This Netgear Range Extender saved me at both houses, bringing my internet signal up to a minimum of 3 bars, but usually at least 4.
- I found setup very easy, the instructions clear, and it has been working flawlessly and the range is great.
- The range is good and i can definitely see a benefit from using it.
- Great product nice size and looking item, easy to set up.
- I like the space-age look and small size! I would recommend to everyone.
- I have no criticisms of this unit - small, discreet and perfectly functional.
- Great factor is the fact it's small and not bulky, it fits flush with my wall and you can hardly notice it!
- Easy to install, postioned in the kitchen now I have WiFi in the garden. Small compact unit.
- Its small in size (about the size of 2 packs of cards put together) and has suited my need perfectly.
- I recommend this range extender for both their small size and inexpensive price.
- Don't let the small size fool you! This thing is Awesome!
- The very small size makes it easy to conceal from view if necessary.
- Good value for the price, small in size and yet powerful.
- Excellent product. Easy to configure with the "Tether" app. Just follow the instructions on app as you go.
- I had to use the app on my phone to synce it which wasn't a problem.
- If you don't have a cable, an App on your phone should allow you to perform a step by step setup.
- Blue lights do shine very brightly at night which is a bit annoying.
- Interestingly the TP-Link app sometimes says the signal is weak between the router and extender, and at others says it's perfect, even though neither has moved or is obstructed.
- The green lights lit up, indicating good signal reception. I connected all my game consoles and my cell phone and laptops.
- The extender had all green lights indicating it had a good connection.
- I placed it in a location in my house where the green light on the extender indicates the location is good.
- The light indicators on the front help you identify the connection and connection strength.
- The indicator lights are sensible and offer all the information you need for setup or troubleshooting.
