- Worked great, easy to use, fast speed, great range. Simple as can be.
- Having the dual band (32.4 and 5 GHz) signal was very helpful. Its ben three months since I installed it and never had to reset or reconnect.
- Download speed tests with the Extender ran as high as 46Mbps out of a theoretical 50, far higher than I'd ever seen when I used an Airport Express.
- Ethernet port is only 100mbps. This is advertised but easy to forget with gigabit so common now.
- Doesn't give you the original speed as advertised. 40% to 50% loss in speed.
- The Netgear extends an existing Wi-Fi network for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz clients simultaneously. You can use it as both a bridge and as a dual-band access point.
- Good Wi-Fi signal extending up to 100 feet in testing. Easy setup.
- Fairly good signal strength and good wireless speeds. Gigabit ethernet port allows for full speeds in AP mode.
- The Netgear X6100's range on the 5GHz band is short, it increases the latency for connected clients, and its Wi-Fi speeds are slow. It's also bulky and runs hot.
- Slow browsing at 50 feet from the testing router. Only one Gigabit Ethernet port.
- The size of the unit is small so you don't have this huge thing hanging on wall outlet. It is easy enough to get set up.
- This one looks good and has a small size surprisingly. Connecting this to my existing wifi network was easy.
- The size of the device is as described, but it seems smaller because it does so much.
- It is super tiny size, like about size of cigarette pack and you can still use the other outlet. Highly recommended!
- This device is wireless to use once installed so there were no extras cables laying around anywhere and the size is very practical.
- Great size and very suitable for home use. Not noticeable and does not attract too much attention.
- I like that it's white, the same color as the outlet plate so it doesn't stand out on the wall.
- I like that it is white so it completely fits the interior of the room.
- Sometimes it falls out of the outlet due to its weight, so it is better to use it vertically.
- After a while, the white color turned half black. And very poorly laundered which causes disappointment.
- It has multi-color LED lights that indicate whether the connection from Router to Extender and Extender to Device are Great / Good / Poor / Non-existent. This helps to find the best spot to place the extender.
- The LEDs are helpful when locating the power outlet to plug the unit into.
- Easy setup. Looks neat in the wall outlet. The lEDs are a nice touch for seeing status of signal.
- The NetGear app can be used easily to test the strength of your existing, and new, wi-fi signal in various areas of your house/business.
- The router LED never lit up. I had to use the browser setup.
- The Netgear AC750 supports the latest 11ac technology, and LED arrows tell you where to position the booster for the best range.
- Very useful LEDs for optimizing and troubleshooting.
- This devices supports Access Point mode. Simply move slider from Extender to Access Point, connect LAN cable to this device and then use same SSID and password for WiFi.
- Super easy setup and use, and there are two lights to indicate if it's in range of the wifi or move closer and one for in range of device or move closer, so it's easy to find the sweet spot!
- It has no USB support and only one Ethernet port.
- Very simple web interface, no features seen in many high end network devices.
