The new browser interface is simple to use. Here's a great way to use it to get maximum speed especially for video related uses if you need to use those in a remote part of your house.
The Netgear AC1200 was one of the first boosters to boast the 11ac technology. As such, this booster supports devices with the latest Wi-Fi technology.
For those who don't know, in very basic terms, because of their frequencies, 5GHz is able to carry data higher speeds but gets blocked by walls and other solid objects.

Best range extender i've used - full 350mb speeds on 5Ghz.
I set it up with my access points downstairs and took it upstairs to the hallway, and now all rooms are serviced so well with a decent wifi speed.
These are awesome, the 5ghz pushes out the exact bandwidth of my router and probably more if you have a speedy connection.
Before install we were getting very low speeds, and contentious drop outs. WiFi signal is now stable and not far off full speed is available.
Signal speed hadn't improved much, only by 5 mbps.

Great little device that does as advertised, small and not heavy at all.
It has a high-technology appearance and looks fairly elegant if placed on a shelf or table top.
Ideal size for home and office. Plug in and forget about it.
The one problem that the AC plug is on the upper side of the device, making it difficult to place in AC outlets that do not have enough space below due to a piece of furniture or moulding.
This thing is large and heavy especially by comparison to my older extender.

It fits in a double socket well enough without hindering the adjoining socket.
It’s small enough that it’s not hogging more than a single standard wall socket. Great stuff!
A compact, nice looking unit that was very easy to set-up.
My only gripe would be that it is larger than I imagined, being the size of a large 'plus' size phone.
Bigger than I envisaged so check that you are happy with the size.

Plugged it in, turned it on, and the browser walked me through a complete and secure install in three minutes.
The indicator lights on this extender provide indication on proximity to router to help optimize installation location and connection status.
This device is basically a lightweight wireless router with an integrated power supply and single ethernet port.
Only one ethernet port, which may require a seperate switch in AP mode.
Web-based user interface provides too little information, is counter-intuitive and often at odds with what the LEDs on the unit indicate.

TP-LINK RE450 AC1750 WiFi Range Extender

The tether app is good to check the positioning of the extender itself, very intuitive and a bonus.
Unit was really easy to set up, and the app was useful for deciding on the final position.
A nice feature is that the LEDs can be switched off with a single press of a button, so nobody's sleep will be disturbed.
Easy to use and set up. Light indicators are clear and meaningful.
The only downside is the glaring blue indicator light if it's in a darkened room.
