- Nice... it works beautifully and now I have wi-fi coverage all over the apartment!. Can even get it out in the parking lot.
- This is also my fourth use of a range extender and it is clearly the best.
- If you are not receiving the full strength of your wireless signal, you need to purchase this range extender.
- The only downfall is that it seems that I have to reboot it every couple days.
- Failed to meet expectations in terms of adding wifi coverage.
- My room is in the attic, the router is downstairs, and it has boosted my PS4 speed from 8gb to 30gb!!! It even has a very handy app!
- I performed a few internet speed tests with SpeedCheck Pro and wow... my internet speed had increased from about 3-5Mbps to 20-30Mbps.
- I can wholeheartedly recommend this device and although nowhere do they advertise that it increases internet speed, in my case it certainly has.
- Vastly better than devices using our house's (modern) wiring, both in terms of ease of setup and signal strength/ speed.
- Using an online speed test I measured an increase from 26mbps to 97mbps so has proven to be very effective.
- Nice compact design and good built in web interface for setup.
- Pleased w this purchase it was less expensive than others i viewed and small and compact in appearance!
- I mainly used this extender to boost wifi in to the garage and front yard. It's Wireless AC, and VERY compact.
- The device is extremely compact and super simple to set up.
- Not a great setup process but is compact.
- Great product nice size and looking item, easy to set up.
- I like the space-age look and small size! I would recommend to everyone.
- I have no criticisms of this unit - small, discreet and perfectly functional.
- Great factor is the fact it's small and not bulky, it fits flush with my wall and you can hardly notice it!
- Easy to install, postioned in the kitchen now I have WiFi in the garden. Small compact unit.
- I consistently get 25 Mbps ~ 30 Mbps download speed from directly plugging in the Ethernet cable to the Motorola SB6121 SURF board Cable Modem.
- I have a media player plugged into the ethernet port on the back of the extender, and areas where we had 1 bar to no signal are receiving full or almost full bars.
- The indicator lights helps a lot in determining the optimum distance between the router and the modem.
- The extender is easy to install. But the indicators go orange and red every few hours.
- Even with unit right next to wireless router, signal strength led indicated no signal strength from router half the time.
- Excellent product. Easy to configure with the "Tether" app. Just follow the instructions on app as you go.
- I had to use the app on my phone to synce it which wasn't a problem.
- If you don't have a cable, an App on your phone should allow you to perform a step by step setup.
- Blue lights do shine very brightly at night which is a bit annoying.
- Interestingly the TP-Link app sometimes says the signal is weak between the router and extender, and at others says it's perfect, even though neither has moved or is obstructed.
