- Very good range with our kids as they play at various homes in our neighborhood and when our family goes skiing.
- Good not great...range is no 32 miles...naybe 1 on good day
- They work good. Not sure if the range is what they claim. I'm sure it isn't but for what I bought them for using with a crew to talk shot ranges they are great.
- I am familar with FRS/GMRS radios and their true limitations. In reality if you get 2 miles in varied terrain you are doing something special. I didn't expect a miraculous increase in range but was hoping for a little better clarity fromthese radios.
- As our older Motorola talkabouts began to show age, a few years ago we bought some replacement walkie talkies in the lower price ranges and were VERY disappointed with the quality and range, and could not use them.
- The range in the mountains was less than a mile. No where near what we were hoping for - even when we were unobstructed.
- We can understand each other clearly. Additionally everybody else can use their own radios, and they all work well together.
- These work pretty well around the neighborhood up to 1/4 mile. Further than that, you begin to pick up a lot of interference.
- We use them on jobs sites the most distance we have used the at is about 1/4 mile. And they were loud and clear.
- Rugged. Not afraid of water. Good sound, good range.
- Awesome product! Works great and reception is very clear, even on distant FM stations.
- The design of the units is attractive in navy and black.
- The belt clips were more substantial than some in this price range, plus they could be removed.
- The headsets are cheaply made and don't fit anyone's ear well and the rubber cover for the charger port is very hard to get off for charging. Good quality overall.
- he radio is weather and water proof and that is a good feature. The wall hanger will permit you to hang on the wall for future use.
- The headsets never worked right on both walkies at the same time. I spent a long time trying to get them to work.
- Great radio which plays well with other brands. Flashlight is a nice touch as well.
- The micro USB charging is perfect as everyone has a car charger and plenty of spares to travel with.
- Great radios that are simple enough to operate and can be locked down and handed to an 8yr old.
- Very handy wit the little LED flashlight - bright enough for nighttime walking
- In 4 months we have liked and had no problems with the rechargeable batteries. We also like the USB connectors, they take up a lot less space than older charging bases.
- A couple of times I have accidentally left them on the charger more than the recommended time period, but so far at least, no issues with the batteries
- These worked great during a recent hunting trip. The battery life was impressive.
- NiMH battery pack installation is not clear, and the while instructions are included, the actual physical orientation of the pack is not shown, and it can be oriented four ways.
- I bough these radios after being disappointed by Midland's design decisions WRT battery life management - but those at least worked properly - loud and clear sound, adequate power, no issues with receiver overload (even being were 5W units), etc. -- battery life was my only concern.
- They use USB charging via a USB port so that it is more flexible in charging it when you are traveling.
- These worked great during a recent hunting trip. The battery life was impressive.
- Works very well, we had very good range on this product, and fantastic battery life.
- They keep a charge for a very long period during constant use.
- Batteries hold a good charge so far, we will see how they do in the long haul.
