- I use this as part of a veteran diving program. Its important to get our divers in the water and finding stuff as part of their therapy. This unit has been incredible and we are ordering more this week.
- The Garret Seahunter is the best beach hunting machine, ive found tons of money and even a 1910 Barber Half-Dollar on my local beaches, it has one tone, but that tone sort of varies.
- So far this has been a great product. Takes a little time to get the hang of it for pinpointing finds. I suggest the purchase of a sand scoop for retrieving hits underwater.
- We spend a lot of time at the lake and on our boat; this has been a great underwater detector so far...
- Great Machine - I would give 5 stars but the shaft is pretty cheesy! It wiggles and rattles enough that one of the nylon nuts loosened and fell off on my first outing!
- I have been using the at Pro for land hunting and it works great. I don't have as much luck with it on the beach. So I decided to buy myself a beach Hunter .The sand shark is fabulous I love it.
- Unit was just a little bit more money than others that I looked at, but the waterproof feature sealed the deal!
- This machine is good. Real good. I bought it and hoped for the best. It is a pulse machine so no discrimination but I have found earrings and chains that my friends GT Sovereign won't.
- This machine works for me. I got for use at the beach...both on land and in water. It has performed in both locations very well. I have not known a way to "discriminate" with this system, so I dig up a lot of pull tabs and bottle caps, but that is ok. That is part of the fun. I enjoy the chase.
- It is very easy to use and sensitive to gold. It is quick to setup and great for SCUBA divers and land users.
- Great little detector. Light and easy to use once you learn it.
- It's easy to use, and light-weight. (I watched youtube videos, showing experienced metal detector users, for tips.)
- I found several relics, about $4 in change, and a nice pendant. I was uncovering items as much as 8-10 inches beneath the mud and muck. Highly recommend!
- I do beach salt water detecting, and it's amazing. When you consider price vs it's competition, I'll take the Sea Hunter every day.
- It will be loud on bottle caps and have more of a softer tone on coins, always dig deep faint sounding targets that is how you get the good stuff. you will be extremely satisfied with the machine.
- I don't use it on shore because it doesn't allow to much discrimination compared to my other detector.
- Bought this for my daughter & her man whom are living the island life. They are getting it down finding some small stuff coins etc..i'm looking forward to hearing of greater discoveries as they perfect it's use.
- I love my new sand shark works great at the beach! Seller is great shipped my order out very quick!
- Lifetime warranty on a item your putting in saltwater! I've found rings chains etc and real deep.
- If you are in a heavy iron trash beach you will find all that tradh, only downside is it finds rverything
- The first day I used this I found a dollar in change and a cell phone. Defniniltey looking forward to more days on the beach with this!
- First day out was great, found a ring close to the surface plus numerous other things...again all close the surface, nothing deeper than 2-3 inches.
- Sometimes different areas of the same beach will cause it to chatter, but it still works if you can tolerate the constant chatters to listen for the signal. I do not think this is so much from the machine but the way it detects.
- Hunting in, or near salt water is a little different (especially in Florida) -- there is no discrimination on this machine, but if you really want to find the good stuff, you dig everything, and this machine finds everything, and at great depth.
- Probably my favorite feature is putting the controller on my hip. It makes swinging the coil back and forth less strenuous on my arm.
- Its great its adaptable to both land and sea.
- Overall the detector is awesome and really finds you some good stuff, BUT it also finds you everything else that nobody wanted.
- When I opened the box, it did not look like it was well packaged. Several of the stated items were missing to include, the various straps, treasure wipes and the baseball cap.
- When I went in the water it tended to float so I put the box back on and it weighted it down and again worked flawlessly for the money it's a great detector and I highly recommend it I think you will have a lot of fun enjoy
- Real Quality and no worries when it gets wet. Not too many products offering a lifetime warranty like the Tesoro does.
- Lots of fun, it is a nice quality machine , too bad it doesn't come with a case or any accessories.
- One minor complaint is that the velcro on the arm band is just glued to the metal arm guard.
