Just deep black text everytime. The speed is incredible too. Great printer, and inexpensive in my opinion.

This printer is great. Its speed is awesome and its really quiet for what its doing.
Constantly jams, wastes tons of labels after roll change, randomly stopped printing correctly after 1 month, not business grade.

Size is compact so keep next to my computer ready to go.
Compact and accurate.
It's compact size is great, so it's not taking up too much space, a power cord, USB cable and power adapter are included.
Good product though it seems a bit large/bulky.

The exterior design of the printer is sober and compact. All the outer shell is made of plastic that makes it light and easy to transport.
This label writer is compact and fast.
Love the compact size and price was a great deal!
My only worry is the printer is very light weight, so I am wondering how long it will last.

Software very well done and forgiving. You can do this AND no more buying INK! How perfect is that!
The "headline" just about says it all: this printer is quick, compact, and clear! We use it for our new point-of-sale system at our retail store, and it does just what we need.
Favorite features are ability to create static fields so all labels look the same, and the 'mirror' printing so that if I fold a label over the top of a file folder I can see what it is from both sides.
The software that comes with it is user friendly and the label roll is very easy to install.
The only negatives are; i) It is annoying that it's not powered over USB so you have to plug in another wall-wart (DC supply)
You have to be careful about lining up the roll (there are good instructions on how to do this) otherwise it chews up the labels.

This was super easy to set up: install the CD software first, then plug in the power cord and USB cord to your computer and turn it on. That's it!
I especially love the feature of printing from Excel; it has saved me hours of retyping addresses from our management system. Now with a few clicks of a button, I can print professional labels efficiently!
LabelWriter 450 Turbo is very quick and the options are limitless! I use mine primarily for file folder labeling and hanging file labeling in my office and it does wonders! Love the import feature!!!
I have made barcode, simple labels, both small and large and in various sizes with multiple lines of text or graphic. It is a very useful tool, but the mainstay is the ability to make customized peel and stick labels for almost anything.
Installation was a problem, but thru the tech support offered, I was able to eliminate the problem
