The Ibanez SR300E is a budget priced bass guitar suited to those who want a great looking, even better sounding instrument.
Incredible bass at a price point you cannot beat. I’m a guitar player so don’t play the bass a whole lot, but that’s what makes this bass perfect for me; it sounds good (to my ear), it plays great, it has a great feel, it’s lightweight, and it’s cheap (in the sense of money, not quality).
This bass is fun as heck to play, and great for the price. However, even after breaking in the strings and setting the action, the frets still buzz.
I love the variety of color choices of the Ibanez electric bass! The tone is extremely strong and the range of frets is a helpful extension.

The 300EB sounds and plays just as good as my higher end SR bass.
I'm typically a Fender P-Bass person but I'm really starting to like my Ibanez's more I think, the extra thin neck, the playability, the lighter weight, the huge amount of tonal variations are really impressive.
I've noticed a huge difference in the way this bass plays over my previous bass. Nice action, gentle to the touch and a pleasure to hold and play.

The neck feels smooth and natural for my hands, and the "oneness" the strings create through the body is surreal. Nicely balanced and light.
Some people have a problem with the slim neck (much slimmer than a Fender) but I find it allows me to hit notes much faster. Overall, it was a GREAT purchase!
Lightweight, thin neck and great action. I switched to flat wound strings and got that smooth feel and big bottom I wanted.
It is extremely light weight ( I can lift the whole Bass by the headstock).

I've been playing since the mid-seventies and this inexpensive instrument is one of the best purchases I've made. The finish in person is much nicer than the photo.
The finish is outstanding and the electronics are great.
It is good quality and absolutely beautiful.
Had to return it. Twisted Neck. Seller refused to replace it. Had to buy it elsewhere.

Finish is impressive and everything is solid.
The real wood feel of this stained black is just the coolest.
The maple body is excellent for sound and weight.
Very well made and very good sound. Rarely goes out of tune. Nice, funky, rounded sound for wide range of genres.
This bass came very well set up. It has a mahogany body and a 24 fret rosewood fretboard.

The active electronics allow for the sculpting of anything I require. I don't know if I was just lucky, but others have commented it both sounds and plays like an instrument that should cost much more
The active electronics enable you to custom tailor the tone to your specific tastes.
Because of the pickup switch and active EQ, there are tons of tone variations available. A great bass for the beginner or experienced musician.
It has many knobs to control your sound, and it is a fun Bass to use when recording.
The pickups are exceptional and the switch does give slight variations in the sound output. My only concern is that the strings sound way to bright for me.

The Candy Apple Red finish is beautiful and the two tone neck adds to the guitars visual ascetics.
I love this bass! So fun to play and so beautiful black on red!
This guitar has a three way equalizer that is very powerful, it can boost/scoop your lows, mids, or highs each with individual knobs.
The pickups are fairly good. This bass guitar has three pickup coil settings.
This guitar comes with a plastic overlay which can be removed that tells you what knob does what, can be useful when getting used to the audio controls.
