- Congradulations to Okuma for a great spinning reel with lots of drag to slam the brakes on big fish when needed.
- Very good spinning reel for the buck.
- I put 300 yds of 65# suffix braid on the reel and just fished a short topshot. For the price this is a great setup for these size fish.
- Great drag and really powerful.
- This is a great reel, been using it for a while now and it has done a good job with kings, sharks and anything else I have caught.
- The 4000 series is good for a medium size fish and you can pair it with a medium action rod
- Great size and appears well made, very smooth action.
- Best size for casting lures for my use love the drag looks and build quality will definitely buy again I have 3 of them.
- Excellent reel. Perfect size, very well balanced, great retrieve speed, very well made, solidly built.
- I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels.
- Sturdy is the name here. Strong reel very good drag and inches per turn can use it to surf cast or on a boat.
- Solid and strong reel with dependable drag.
- Great reel! Really smooth with a ton of drag.
- Great reel, very stiff feeling frame and really good drag.
- Great quality, 44 #s of smooth drag, big spools and good ratio.
- The drag and action remain smooth year after year with virtually no maintenance.
- Awesome reel, used it in the surf and is an easy clean up, enough drag to do whatever you need it for.
- The drag is easy to adjust in the fly. Happy with it so far.
- Great drag and solidly built. A bit heavier than some other reels but feels a lot more solid than lighter competitors reels.
- Drag works great and it has handles Large stripe without and issue.
- Great reel! Really smooth with a ton of drag . Plenty of stopping power for big snapper and Jacks.
- Very good spinning reel for the buck.
- Great reel for the price. Has held up well for me.
- Very impressed with the quality of this reel. Durable ,good price.
- The only small drawback is that it feels a little stiff reeling in, but that has been getting better every use.
- It is pretty much perfect, right down to the handle because I have a crippled hand that can still handle the angle and size of the handle!
- This is a great reel. I love the looks, durability, line capacity, braid ready spool, and drag.
- The handle is very well designed and feels really nice.
- Large spool. Cast great. Very smooth
- My biggest problem is that the line doesn't go on the spool evenly.
