I have 80# of PP MaxC and pair it with a 8'3 popping rod.
This is the ferrari of fishing reels. although very expensive, you will not be disappointed in its performance.
I could find very smooth retrieve very precise product. Best reel I've ever used.
it is very smooth, very light and very strong. I use it from the beach and it is my favorite reel i have.

Daiwa Saltiga (SALTIGA6500H)

I use mine for targeting bigger sharks on spinning gear. Will and 150lb+ fish in under 30 minutes. Excellent reel.
hese reels well paired with a high-end rod not only are very capable, they are a dream to fish with.
The smoothness and shear power of these reels are unmatched and in my opinion out do Shimano Stella's of the same size.
Excellent quality and line capacity for fish that like to run. Smooth drag also.

This reel is like butter! It is light enough to cast all day yet strong enough to land 200+ pound tarpon.
I spooled it wit 50# Power Pro Super Slick. The drag is extremely smooth and allows for really putting the heat on fish.
Not only that it has a lot of drag, but the drag is really smooth.
The stella series are a masterpiece the drag is supoer smooth and has never failed me on any size of reel.

60+ lbs of drag, holds alot of line. Aesthetically beautiful.
Extremely easy cranking, 66lbs of drag if you ever need it.
I loved the look and feel of the reel, it worked hard and easily managed to land 100lb+ yellow fine, drag was great, and almost a smooth as the stella.
Look and feel, drag and power of the reel, good weight for the size off reel.
Perfect example of you get what you pay for. Reel performs exceptionally well, super smooth and tough.

I have this model and put it to the test last year fishing yellowfin tunas in the 60-100# class. Incredible power for such compact reel.
They will probably out live you with proper maintance, which they should for the price!
Had a big snook dropped the reel in the water and got it back, perfectly good shape.
The free service coupons and the lube port are gone but otherwise same top quality.

Beautiful reels. Durable, reliable. Worth every dime knowing this reel won't let the trophy of a life time get away !!!
Line capacity and nice balance. Knob handle is also very nice.
I landed a 200lb tuna with this reel and a black hole rod aurface casting.
I cant say anything bad about this reel, just King of kings with magseal i can say this is a reel that will last for a lifetime
