About the Product

The new center of gravity (M-Compact Body) means the oscillation gear is now closer to the rod, increasing balanced feel. Incororating the Propulsion Line Management system for longer casts and reduced backlash, the Sienna FE uses Super Stopper II for instant anti-reverse with no backplay. Available in sizes from 1000 to the 4000, the Sienna FE is perfectly suited for everything from freshwater to inshore fishing.

The Sienna FD range of spinning reels are equipped with four ball bearings for smooth and effortless operation, and a gear system built for reliability and performance. The aluminium Propulsion-Equipped spool is precision made and has a multi-washer drag designed to handle fast running fish.

The bail is firm and clicky. The reel is very smooth for 2 bearing.
I know this sienna only has 2 bearings as compared to the old siennas 4 bearings, but this thing is smooth as butter.
This reel is the best bang for your buck. I use it for trout fishing and it has handled some large rainbows. The bail is firm and clicky.
Amazing reels for the price.
Not smooth like it should be, needs more bearings.

well build reel for light to med duty fishing very good for those trips were gears get beaten up you do not have to worry about damaging expensive gear.
Shimano quality for a very low price need I say more.
It is a bit on the larger side of reels, but does everything well. Very quiet and smooth.
Great reel, wound with 30 lb test braided line. Casts and retrieves smoothly. Looks like new after one season of saltwater fishing.
I loaded mine with 10lb. mono line. Works GREAT

It's super smooth, the drag is reliable and predictable, the anti-reverse works great and it's just fast enough to fish fast water.
Seems very sturdy and smooth. Just spooled on 20lb braid and everything seems to be working fine.
I wonder if it is due to the shape and size of the spool or to how the line winds on the reel, but the Shimano has just been superior to everything else that I have used.
The new Sienna reel looks great and handles beautifully. Hands down the best reel on the market for under $30!
From big tarpon to snapper and grouper it can handle a beating!

For the money the reel works just fine. The gears could be a bit smoother when reeling in but I still catch fish with them.
Good Reel, havnt had too much action but so far its working good and looks good.
I used it on a beach fishing trip and it never gave me a minute's trouble.
Great value reel - don't shy away from it if you need an inexpensive saltwater workhorse.
Very cheap materials.
